Make sure you go to visit Neovia to be able to challenge this opponent. Apparently you have to do asylum part first to get that challenge.

He was elected to be mayor of the town, but who ever really wants to be just mayor?

Beware he is able to inflict unblockable damage around 840 without using any weapons!

Update :The Mayor has been defeated! It was easy. Almost too easy..., and all the 1P challengers are now set back in place. We might want to wait for the next upgraded version of the mayor Wink

Update 2 : The Mayor is now using his second form.

Update 3 : The Mayor is now using his last form.
Ooooops!

ERROR : Nice try, but your Neopet cannot challenge this opponent yet

It seems people who haven't finished the plot part can't fight him until they have.
The theory is going that in the final form each hitpoint of damage you do counts against his million hp cap, this is of course nearly impossible to prove, except that his rate of declien in hp is higher than anticipated.

I can prove it's not true, because I threw a Fruit Bomb and Goo Blaster, along with a berzerk attack. Altogether that did 192 damage, but he only lost about 70 HP in that time.

Unless it's not a 1:1 relationship.

Could easily be that for every 5 HP of damage done, he loses one say.
It seems more likely that he now simply loses more than one hit point for every battle against him.

No, I'm sure it's still the same 1:1 ratio. He's losing HP at the same rate as before, he just has a lot more of it.
