I am not a seasoned battler. However, when battling with the gloves, I see 3 fire icons and either 1 or 2 physical icons. for the tail shield, I have seen it block 4 water and 4 physical. I have also seen blocks of earth. If you can tell me how to test these weapons, I can try to help you get the required information.
