I guess he means the price would be a bit expensive for low-level pets compared to codestone/dubloon training.
For high-level pets (like featheralley's majal_kita), doing kitchen quests are almost always worth it compared to negg training.

You need to compare the cost of training to the cost of Quests. I actually am going to edit my article to add a bit more on cost. I was just thinking about it this weekend.

But, the rare items sometimes makes up for it.

Yes, there really is about a 31% chance of HP, str, def, or level. If you take level out the percentage drops a little.

I know I tend to remember the days like last week when I got 3 agility and one level much more than I remember the days, also last week, when I got 3 HP, 2 strength and 2 levels!

And, yes, occasionally you get a really nice item like the book I sold for 90k and the spooky food that went for 69500!

I think I may start doing quests now except I have 4 pets and I only have to pay 2 codestones right now. I'll probably start at around 3 codestones.

..nice article...i'm not using k quests right now, since i still only use one codestones on my new account...i missed the war on that one.
So i train for the next...but this article is sure to help out with the whole percentage thing...
I never realised, cause i was really picky at the start, and i would only do quests that were bout 0 to 5k...(price of a codestone)...I never realised that as the amount of codestones you need goes up, so does the amount you save in k quests...

Bleh... In my opinion, the quests are still overrated. I'll rather pay extra to get the stat that I want, on the right pet. I've got like, 122 HP, and 20 level. I don't want another HP stat...

Kitchen quests have helped me in the past, although with it being either/or pet for me, sometimes that's a downer. The good things about it are stats, and of course every now and then you can get an item worth something, that you can sell and spend on actual training.
