 I hate it when I have runs of bad luck though...
I did somewhere around 100 today and didn't get much of anything <_<
Great article....5/5
I know how you feel - I just scratched 250 card that I bought from 900-1100 NPs. Results :
1 Level Up - I'm not kidding. Just a SINGLE Level up - that's like what - less than 0.5%.
4 snowballs
2 plushies
7 - 5,000 NPs
10 - 10,000 NPs
What's even worse is that I only need 1 more level to continue training. Anyway, I'm taking a break for awhile - my training will be put on hold :(
Oh and I give the article a score of 2. To me it's kinda useless coz it's all luck - the 3% chance of getting level ups is not really informative (as seen in my case). In fact, having this 3% percentage value that the article provided frustrated me even more coz I expected about 6 level ups. I do applaud the effort taken into logging down the results of 4068 scratching.
This is BAD NEWS for me - you are omly allowed to scratch 5 Scratchcards per day, there goes my leveling up
nice article 5/5 kinda moot now though with the new limit
i am a BIG fan of using tt sc's for training... i just made a new act (0vl) and i tt sced my pet til lvl 10 so i could train big time and then after though, they made the new 5 sc a day rule... its HORRIBLE! they killed and amazing way to train
whoever just asked for a comparisan to ff sc's... tt has always worked MUCH better for me and gets many more lvl ups and also costs less... but that is just me, i've asked a bumch of friends and also asked bdchat a few times and all agreed with me so far except one kid...
personally I like training with island school some quests and scratch cards.
Shame about the new limit, good article though.
I was considering using tt scratchcards and now it's not even worth thinking about.
yay i just scratched 5 and got a level up. thanks again for the article

Umm, since it's just
one level wouldn't it be better if you used codestones to get that level? Then at least you can continue training.

It WAS usually easier to scratch TT SC to get levels - it used to be like 1-2 levels per 50 TT. Codestone training would take 18 hours at my level and I was in the middle of strength training then I couldn't train level. But I scratched about 250 more TT that time and got about 4 more levels. That was before the 5 card a day limit :(
Part of the reason why I thought of taking a break on training is well - mentally I'm getting frustrated again with TNT - I mean why make the probability of getting levels harder and then on top of that - they put a limit of 5 cards per day.
Anyway, that frustration was only for a few hours - now - I'm rethinking my BD plan - yes I will be using codestones now to train levels - if my stat training goes slow then so be it. I will just concentrate more on getting higher end weapons than training my pets since this seems to be what TNT wants - to reward weaker pets. Plus I will just be active in 2-player guild fighting.
But in light of the 5-a-day limit, the price of Terror Trove Scratchcards has dropped dramatically. (Down to about 850 NP)
This has gone from a way to pump a lot of NP into getting fast level ups to a slow but extremely cheap way to get level ups. Now you want to do 5 a day every day, the same as you want to max out kitchen quests everyday.
I gave it a 4/5 because of the 5 card max a day. I find TTSC training a great tool, but if you have a weak pet, then it may not be worth it.
