Quote:I can appreciate that statement. I was like woah wait why couldn't they have mentioned this a few episodes ago. They crammed too much into the final episode imo.

which was exactly what i was thinking

they could, at least, have the new season somehow tie into the first season. that way, we coold b like "Oh, so he WAS already involved"

or something like that...[/quote]
What makes you think they won't do that in the first few eps of season two, Kombat? Trust me, dude, everything on Heroes is planned out crazy far in advance. I wasn't a big fan of the final episode, but I had no problem with them hinting at the new big bad for the first time in that ep (after all, Molly Walker, the only person who even knows he exists, was only (really) introduced at the very end of the season -- we had no one to tell us about him earlier). Movies do the hinting thing all the time, especially superhero movies... and I don't think I even need to mention that cliffhangers are a huge part of comic books (and as I'm sure you've noticed, this show is structured like a comic).

Anyway. When a season finale airs, it's sweeps season, the show will be on hiatus for a few months, and they want to go out with a bang and with some resolution, but without answering all of the questions -- they want you to come back next season and learn what they were talking about. That's how TV works. I'm sorry you don't like it, but it can't be pointed at as a flaw. The anticlimactic final fight and the unsatisfactory and kind of unnecessary Peter/Nathan sacrifice (seriously, Peter had visions that he'd get radioactive powers and destroy NYC, so he... went chasing after radioactive Ted), those are flaws.
The show keeps going on hiatus after like every 6 episodes, which is really stupid because then no one remembers what happened or even cares anymore

I really hope they don't do that again this season. I almost stopped caring about the show when they did it last time...

but i never have time to watch the actual channel it airs on, so i just bootleg it via torrent and slap it on my Zune for viewing when there's nothing else to do in like school or something

speaking of, i start it in two days XP
I'm kinda glad they didn't introduce the promise of a new baddie halfway through the season, it would take the focus away from Sylar. Of course they would have to introduce a new baddy, to get people to watch the second season
. They have an entire new season to build up the new baddy, much like they did with Sylar.

The climax was a bit disappointing, but then again, the makers of the show decided to begin at the beginning, when people just started to get to know their powers. With the exception of Sylar, who is so obsessed with his powers, it wouldn't be realistic to have everybody (especially Peter) use their powers as a pro (like they did when Hiro and Ando got a glimpse of the future).

Anybody know when season 2 starts btw?
Quote:(although it could still have been Sylar, seeing as he survived)

actually it CANT be sylar, cuz the molly girl said there was only one person who she cooldnt track and clearly, she was able to track down sylar...

I meant to say that Sylar can still be the (main) bad guy in the second season. I'd be kind of disappointed if the dropped Sylar entirely the next season, I would be like "so where's Sylar anyway?" during the whole season
Quote:The second season of Heroes will consist of 24 episodes,[7] and the first season of a new spinoff, Heroes: Origins, will include six episodes.[8] The second season is scheduled to premiere on September 24, 2007.[9]

got that from wikipedia Ohmy

i really dont care when it starts airing, im just going to torrent it anyways Toungue

Quote:Heroes: Origins is an upcoming American science fiction drama, a spinoff of NBC's hit show Heroes. Heroes: Origins will introduce one new character per episode, and viewers will choose which character will join the main cast at the end of the run. The second season of Heroes and the first season of Heroes: Origins will include a total of 30 episodes.[2][3]

It will start at the end of April and run all the way into May, as announced at Comic Con '07.

The reason given for the spin-off was to remove the mid-season hiatus, which caused the ratings to falter when Heroes returned in Season 1.

sounds like a good idea to me...
Oh that does sound like a good idea! We'll see if it works!

Mike, my friend wrote that episode (and "Company Man," the recent one with Mr. Bennet's backstory). He's awesome, and so is Heroes!

Wow, that is amazing!

Company Man was by far the best episode in the series IMO, brilliant build-up of tension and you finally learn about Mr Bennet.

Don't know if Americans know this, but the guy who plays Claude (the invisible man) is Christopher Eccleston who is really well liked here in England because he played Doctor Who for a series and brought it back from the dead. He was also great in 28 Days Later.
Was a big bonus for me seeing him in the series.

i knew i saw him from somewhere!

i liked the homecoming episode best
