Species: Lupe
Level : 30
Hit Points : 50 / 50
Strength : EXCELLENT (50)
Defence : EXCELLENT (50)

I don't lab my pet and I currently have 500K to spend

Here is my set:

Psellias Fighting Fan
Scuzzys Comb
Iron Lupe Sword

Scarab Ring
Downsize!
Lupe Reflector Shield
Leaf Shield
Ancient Lupe Wand

I only battle in 1p. The problem I'm facing here is does my set is doing too much light damage? Is there anything I need to change or to get rid off and add in a new weapon?

thanks in advance
You lack a bomb in your set. What I would do is sell the Psellias Fighting Fan and save up (if needed) for a Honey Potion.
Well you should train your Defence and Strength to the next boost (55) and you'll do more damage and then train your HP to at least 70 I think. Get a Purple Sticky Hand and I would sell the Iron Lupe Sword because it does 7.5 while the Fan does 9 constant icons. For the bomb just use some Muffins or Snowballs and you don't really need the ring anymore I think and also get a Greater Healing Scroll.
I would suggest keeping your Scarab Ring. It is really useful still at your level of battle. make use of your well trained pet stats with it.

However, I do advice that you sell both your Lupe weapons. Iron Lupe Sword can have more than 1/2 it's icon blocked by Scarab Ring and your Lupe Reflector Shield does to little to be of any use at your level. You're gonna outgrow it fast.

If there are Lupe weapons that I would recommend they would be the Iron Lupe Helm and the Ancient Lupe Wand. You already have the Wand so you would already know how useful it is. As for the Helm, it is cheap, it has the advantage of being monoicon (not many weapons at your level can block all 6 dark icons, so surely some icons will get through at least), and it blocks light (which is extremely common). Best of all, having that in your first slot would mean that it reduces the chances of your opponent using it against you should they choose to steal it (unless your opponent is a Lupe as well). Of course the last two advantages apply mostly in 2-player but still you do enjoy the benefits to an extend.

To answer your question about having too much light, I would like to say that in 1-player, icon types doesn't matter as much. However, you are still in danger of having certain icon types fully blocked by certain 1-player opponents (eg Shadow Usul's Shadow Shield) So having a variety of icons is usually a better bet.

Here's my suggestion:

Psellias Fighting Fan ------- Switch this to an Essence of Esophagor. It gives more icon variety, and in 1-player, the EoE is less likely to be blocked.
Scuzzys Comb
Iron Lupe Sword -------- Switch to Iron Lupe Helm. Selling this will help increase your budget slightly.
Scarab Ring
Downsize!
Lupe Reflector Shield ------ by selling your Sword, and earning a bit more points you can get hold of a Honey Potion, as you sorely need a bomb.
Leaf Shield --- one shield is enough.
Ancient Lupe Wand
Thanks a lot guys for the information.
If you mainly do one player, icon types don't matter as much. It's just pure power, so dont worry. Why not sell your psellias fighting fan and get a 9-iconer without light?

Stone Club100,000 NPMultiple Use
Attack
Defence

This might look like a tasty treat to your Grarrl or Skeith, but it is really a very nice weapon!

is a classic example. You dont lose power and the main reason Psellias is worth more is because its slightly harder to block in 2-player, so just change it. Its better then EoE because its cheaper, helping alliviate funds for honey potion.

Also, be careful of your Lupe Wand, that can also eat up funds as it is fragile. In one player, use a frost cannon (Green preffereably) and if it doesnt work restart the battle Smile.
