Eh, much of the behavior analysis I've seen is based purely on luck, and not much else (because the "evidence" often ends up being false when the person was actually executed as evil, or the person is blamed for "acting evil",which, I might say, there is no such thing as doing [as I've proven several times when I was executed as innocent because I "acted like a baddie", and other times when I was executed for doing something I ALWAYS do and ended up evil.]) Being correct about a player being evil does not necessarily mean the "analysis" was correct (such as the part I mentioned about me being executed as evil. That was an incorrect analysis.)

Anyone that is innocent can be mistaken as evil, and anyone evil can also be considered evil by mistake, and it happens quite a bit. Because of this, people tend to take little things that really don't mean anything (wording of certain posts, for example), over-analyze it, come to the conclusion that a player is evil because of it, and become stuck on that idea until they're proven right or wrong (if they happen to be correct on the alignment, they assume that their analysis was correct, which isn't necessarily true)

I think that analyzing works, but only in moderation. By that, I mean that people don't believe that the analyzing is fact, but only a means of subjective suspicion that must be combined with other reasoning for suspicion to mean anything. It works out well that way. I haven't seen it used often, really (I think a game or two ago on another forum was the last time I saw it, so it was recently), but when it's done correctly, it not only makes the game more interesting, but also throws some possibilities in the air as well, leading to some better things and more interesting times down the road. I don't really do analyzing myself anymore. I probably would have a year or so ago, but now it's much more effective to compare roles and analyze the roles that have been given, rather than to analyze what has been said on the thread. Luckily , there seems to be games around where private communication is prohibited or restricted which makes analyzing more useful.
Prof said it all. My computer has not been good to me this past few days. I haven't kept up with anything much but the plots so I have no real suspects. I don't know what else to say other than I am innocent. Just the fact that I was absent two days and teams still killed. Now I realize this doesn't eliminate me totally from the possibilities of being a convert, but surely there are other suspects whose more voluminous posts would allow for some ananlysis.

Busy day, sorry about that ^^
Meh... sorries to Cat.

By the way, does anybody have the old WW games (WW 5-15 are the specific ones) archived somewhere? I used to go over them regularly, but now (well, they have been gone for a while) they've vanished from the forums.

Bandwagon'd >_> I don't have anyone better to vote for
Eh... I wanted to see how iDB Werewolf games have changed. Generally, there's a lot less first-day spam now (mostly good) and the games are a lot shorter (I want another 100+ page game).. The primary playerbase has changed too.

WW 23 is still around though, and I'm pretty sure that was my first Werewolf evar Smile
Heh, for a +100 pages, we need a massive game, like +35 players, active players or so for doing that.
