Greetings all,

The old 1P help thread seemed way out of date so I started again -- sorry if doing so is inappropriate?! (Yes, I am a greenhorn newbie).

I have the following:

Grarrl /Strength : 87 /Defence : 83 (training 84, going to 85)/HP: 82/ Level : 52

with : Purple Sticky Hand/Green Frost Cannon/Scarab Ring/Tyrannian Lupe Tooth/Leaf Shield/Greater Healing Scroll/Stone Club/Supersize Ultimate and all the faerie abilities obtainable at Level 52.

I can earn money and have time (fates willing) so $$ is not really a question. I don't use the Lab Ray nor do I wish to.

I fought the Meerca Henchmen for the first time yesterday as part of DoN and got wiped in the first round?! I'm just wondering if I can win with what I have and will gladly accept any suggestions on how best to do so. If I need to change things (more training, better weapons, etc.), I would also greatly appreciate your suggestions.

Items You Need:
# 4 Icey/Water Muffins (You can also try Ruby Elixirs)
# 1 freezer (Good ones are Snowglobe Staff 19%, Black Frost Cannon 24%, H4000 Helmet 100%, or Scroll of Freezing 100% but may break)
# 1 Honey Potion/Snowball Slingshot (I won with a Snowball Slingshot, but you have to be lucky. A Honey Potion will give you a higher chance of winning!)

Pet You Need:
# 130+ Hit Points
# 85 Strength
# Berserk Attack (Must be level 50 for berserk - it is possible to win without it, but it is better to have it)
# The faerie abilities burrow and sink. Burrow is the fourth earth faerie ability (must be level 10), and sink is the 8th dark faerie ability (must be level 30).

Optional Recommended Weapons:
These weapons are not required, but if the Meerca Henchmen defend and use their Hefty Loot Bag, then they will still be alive and you will have to use these to win.

# 1 Stone Muffin
# 1 Thick Smoke Bomb

The Strategy

Move 1
Honey Potion/Snowball Slingshot
Freezer
Sink/Burrow

Continue if you have frozen the Henchmen. There will be a picture of a snowflake under them. If they are not frozen, and if you don't have berserk, then they must have less than 165 hp to continue.

Move 2
Icey/Water Muffin x2
Berserk

Move 3
Icey/Water Muffin x2
Sink/Burrow (Whichever ability you didn't use before.)

If you haven't won, continue onto move 4.

Move 4
Stone Muffin
Thick Smoke Bomb
Berserk

Now just go to collect your prize, and you will get one of the Meerca Henchmen avatars and a cool looking trophy!

^Just a FYI on the above method, you don't need 130+ HP or 85 boost. It's very posible with ~80 HP and 55 boost.

oh, wow....i wouldnt really know though since i havent beaten them yet....but i just used avatar.starried for the info....thanx for that though....makes me feel happier about not having to train for the next year to beat them
