I will still post the exact same thing in the game thread, so be active and check there for a better formatted version of the plot.Map:

Pre Round 1:
Many warriors have already prepared themselves for battle! Armed to the last toe, fighters from around Neopia gather at Neopia Central. As each pet and their owner sign a pledge to fight for their respective team, Dr. Sloth (me) zaps them with his ray gun and all those who have signed up are now teleported to island number 1.
______________________________________________________
It seems like as the many contestants arrive on the very small island #1, they are left without food or water, only the weapons they brought with them and a few snacks. The island is small and as pets and owners come to their senses, they find a Dr. Sloth Clone giving out maps. Otherwise, things are pretty peaceful out in the middle of no where.
Sharp-eyed pets (and the non-blind one's) also notice a giant list floating magically in the center of the lush meadow in which they have landed. On the list are names of some famous war heroes but also some lesser known fighters. Underneath is a clear message saying: Please yell out if there are errors on this list. And then beneath that in miniscule writing: But of course, Dr. Sloth never makes mistakes.
As, time rolls by, some of the restless pets begin to explore the island...looking for possible traps, dangers and/or even healing springs. However as they attempt to leave the grassy meadow and into the dark forest, a force field appears and knocks them back. Looks like all you contestants are stuck in this meadow!! Muhahahahahaha!
Note: In less than 72 hours from now, Dr. Sloth's teleport ray will start to malfunction and signups will end.

Round 1
After days of waiting, the fighters from all over Neopia have grouped themselves into their respective teams. King Q makes an appearance on the island and distributes red coloured decor to Krawk Island supporters and blue garments to Terror Mountain troops.
From the looks of things, it seems many seasoned warriors have come from the war-torn citadel of Darigan. Many of these battlers have fought in previous wars and are thirsty for more blood. Although not the strongest, Benladesh has been the chosen leader for Krawk Island. Less of a warmonger than his teammates, he is wise in the head and will be a great leader for KI. At his side stands cran_b, a stronger fighter, more seasoned on the battlefield but too kind and friendly to be a spirited leader.
Terror mountain's team is no less strong; bringing with them the two biggest heroes in the competition. Leading the team is the charismatic and sometimes radical mike411; his strength in leadership however is unmatched, both strong and intelligent. At his side are an even stronger novachoek and a relatively tiny kaniget.
Right from the start, it seems by size and strength that Terror mountain will be unstoppable. This is already shown from the leaders of both teams. However, Krawk Island believes that their wit and unabatable spirit will persevere throughout the quest. Previous trials at sea have shown that this should not be taken lightly. In addition Krawk Island is famous for their buried treasure, cove weapons and the famous dubloon training school. Terror Mountain, home to the snowbeast and the snowager, is filled with icy riches too, with millions in the scratchcard jackpot. Although normally festive people, Terror mountain supporters are often extremely large and strong, so that they can live in the harsh conditions of the mountain range. Backed by ancient minds from Tyrannia and the scantily clad Lost Desert warriors, Terror Mountain has assembled an extremely strong team. Both in hot and cold, Warriors of TM will be able to endure and destroy anything that blocks their path to the final island.
So, the force field shall now be lifted and all battlers may find their way to island number 2.

The battlers separating into their respective teams left the meadow in search for the shore, where King Q had promised boats for travel. It was not difficult, even for those who have been hit in the head too many times, to find their way towards the south-west end of the island. After only a few hours of quick travel, the two teams came upon an extremely forested part of the island. Here,
the battlers are attacked by ancient birds of prey! These birds, by the name of Eyrieki were left undisturbed for eons but then King Q came along and got them to defend some boats. The first team to get 120,000 points will win the round and the team will receive a certain bonus. In addition, the losing team will only get the number of points they have gotten at the time of the winning team's completion.
Rules:-if you don't read, you won't win.

Each win will earn 25 points for the first 100kills. From then onwards, each kill will be worth only 20 points for the next 100. Then finally another 10 points up to 300 kills. After that, each kill will only be worth 0.5 points. So for 300 kills, a battler will get 2500+2000+1000=5500.
To get credit for your kills, you must post in the scoring topic thread...
There will be an honour system in place...you must never have fewer wins than posted here. If you see someone else with fewer actual kills than posted, please inform me/take a screenie. He/she will be punished accordingly, with an immediate DQ and most likely a banning from future events.
I am hoping team leaders/assistant leaders can help me tally up the scores once in a while.
As soon as you finish reading, I would suggest posting in the scoring topic (so that you get credit) And then edit your post to update as you battle. You MAY not edit your score after the round is over, there are timestamps and if you get caught, punishment will ensue. Each player has unlimited edits, except AFTER the round is over, then all edits of past posts are prohibited. No chatting in the scoring topic...all chatting and discussion, questions, etc go in the game thread.
GOOD LUCK to all Battlers and let the Quest begin!

This post is going to get long
round 2.0
The two hour boat trip gave the battlers some rest but still many were fatigued by the long battle. KI having killed more eyriekis on island one, was able to set sail first and as a result, arrived before TM. As the two KI ships approached island #2, first mate cran_b noticed something shiny on the shore. The team quickly navigated their ship towards the glittering treasure. (pirates can't resist shiny things) Upon arrival, Ben, being the captain, got off the ship first and approached the object. He quickly took the small tissue-box sized item and put it in his coat. As the crew completed landing, the crew noticed there was no where to go on the island except upwards along a steep cliff. The top of the cliffs were not visible, hidden in the clouds.
Finally the TM team arrived onto the island crowding the small beach where everyone had landed. Pepperyone, a keen-eyed individual noticed markings on the cliff wall. After some random poking and kicking, a magical door appeared in the wall. Phoenix exclaimed, "If we can't go over, I guess we'll have to go through!" However the door was locked by some sort of code. In plain english it read: Speak the right words and enter.
On the wall were some clues:
1. Like duck, not duck, hope you're stuck!
2. I'm good, I'm bad, you're happy, you're sad.
3. Some say I don't exist; I'm just hidden in mist.
PM King Q if you know the answer. (I hope it?s not too easy)
Rules:
1 guess per player. You may help others out if you want (or lead the other team into confusion)
Guess in this format:
The key is : your answer.

round 2.1
Within minutes, quick thinking first mate figured out the key and has brought his team within the first set of doors. Terror mountain, still lost after their dissappointing loss on island 1 is left outisde on the beach. Well at least with a less crowded thinking space, TM will hopefully have a chance to catch up.
After entering the magical door Cranberry leads the team into a dark room. With no exits except the way they came in and the way forward, the team is left stuck. Once again a magical door impedes their way...this time, the key to open the door looks much harder.
Plushie, Air, Dark, Earth, Fire, Light, Water;
Snacks, claw, paw, stamp, swipe, physical!
This is not related to the first riddle. Same rules.

round 2.2
From an outside point of view, it seems if I give a third riddle, KI will continue to take the lead but I need to stall for at least another 24 hours so here goes:
Plot Update 2.2
At last Schezan of TM figured out the key to the first door and quickly brought his team into the second chamber. Unfortunately they saw the backs of KI as flaming_snot lead the group past the third door. ?Looks like we have to figure this one out quick to catch up? exclaimed mike.
Up ahead KI found themselves in a extremely bright room, flourescent lightbulbs hung from the ceiling and luminescent candles surrounded them. Up ahead there was no hidden magical door but in the center of the room was an elevated floor. In the middle was a scroll. In english it read: The key, hidden in light, is the answer to your plight.
Underneath there were some numbers:
562219020 2462171615
Rules for last riddle:
KI gets 3 guesses, TM gets 2
Do NOT PM guesses.
Post in this format:
colour code, and the answer is:, after someone posts the answer, a teammate must post underneath, I agree with :whoever answered it:s answer. If no teammate does this, I ignore the answer and the other team can copy a potentially correct answer. You may throw the other team off by posting something random and saying it is the answer but have no one support it.
Good luck to all, this one will hopefull last for 24 hours
Heres an example of how to asnwer:
Q77 says in blue: the answer is 42!
Q777 of red says in red: the answer is 42!
Q7777 of red says in red: I agree with Q777
In this situation, if 42 is the asnwer, red wins, but Q77 was actually just being tricky and 42 was incorrect!

Round 2.3
It seems that the combo of phoenix and dunkeaters has gotten the answer! There was a last ditch effort by KI to beat TM to the solution but it seems they were late...Phoenix cuts himself in the finger and writes Scythe of Eternal Darkness onto the scroll. The scroll imediately erupts in flames and the whole room turns dark. All the lights go completely dark. For a few seconds, both teams are left in darkness. Suddenly, in the darkness, phoenix feels something in his hand. Quickly he hides it within his garments. Slowly, everyone's eyes return to normal and they begin to see inside the room. However there is no way out.
One last riddle-just for fun-no points awarded...How do you get out of the dark room and back onto your ships!?
As a result of solving riddles one and two quickest, KI recieves 20k+30k points. TM recieves 0 because they were too slow, however, they recieve 40k for getting the 3rd riddle first.
Round 2 is now over (but you guys are still stuck) This thread will now be used to post comments on Round 2. How did you find the riddles, if you solved a riddle, I'd be interested to know how you solved it.

round 3
After leaving the deceptive 2nd island, the battlers board their ships finding a new member on each team. The two teams set sail for island number 3. Upon arrival, they discover that the island is relatively peaceful, no looming cliffs, no scary birds. However there is a note posted on a nearby tree: "Beware of random thunderstorms". By reflex, some of the battlers began to try to riddle out the notice...luckily there was no answer needed, it was just a plain warning.
Shortly after discovering the sign, everyone began looking for food and water, which was plentiful on the island. However before gorging on the food, there was a thunderstorm and heavy rain began to fall. Not surprisingly, all electrical device began to malfunction...
The sloth clones, supposedly escorts, began to act funny and King Q started losing control. In a few seconds, the clones became evil!

The clones are now attacking you!! Fend them off or you'll be stuck here

Rules:
The 2 post/24hours still applies, a post in your team's forum counts.
40 points per win for the first 50 wins
30 points for the next 50 wins
10 points for the next 50 wins.
each win afterwards is worth 1 point.
First team to 80,000 points wins this round. As like before, once one team reaches 80k, the other team can no longer edit/update scores.

round 3.1
ZOMG it's dark!
Plot update:
By sunset, the (I was going to say the sun had set but) stars began to appear. With the stars came the moon and after a few hours it began to get really dark. Out of the shadows appeared ghost lupes, curious about what the big racket was. Suddenly there was a random thunderstorm and it began to rain. Ghost lupes hidden by the rain and darkness started to attack, obviously not wanting intruders into their territory.

Post/edit into your current scoring post:
Lupe wins:
Lupe points:
Clone wins:
Clone points:
Total points:
you do a few short calculations and it helps us a lot^_^
ok this might get confusing
Round 3 update:
After some intense programming and debugging. King Q has finally been able to disable the evil sloth clones. Unfortunately, everytime there is a random thunderstorm, the clones go beserk again. Still, once King Q has fixed a sloth clone, he can send it into the sea, where it short-circuits and decomposes. As a result, you guys only need to reach 70,000 points to escape the island.
