I have 1 million pure, and another in stocks. I've not yet completed insane on nq2 and will, so take that into acount.

I mostly play 1 player, with no ambition twards twoplayer, not minding if my set us thus terrible for it.

I could get another million in a month, but I am unlikly to exert myself to that level unless you post very tempting items just out of my rage (though I hope you will).

I have lab ray, but do not think this is the time to lab this pet, codestone traning seems to be going well enough. I will train level to it's max at this codestone cost, then take str and defence within 5 of it (to allow for f-quests), then raise speed to that same level. Next hp is brought to match. Str, def, and speed are brought to max. Last hp is brought to tripple.

Then i start all over again brining level up to a point where the others can train, do you sugest that I use my stash of scratch cards?

And because I've listed the fairy abilities I have, what ones that I have are best to use now, and what ones would you sugest that I get and use immediately?

Edit: Oh, just to fill out all the details, I am trying to raise int daily with cliffhanger, crosswords and wheel of knowledge, it's working well.
ok then if your going to keep RoTL you might as well keep it in the set so this is what I suggest:

Set

I will have the suggestions up maybe 8hrs or by this time tommorow

Why these weapons?
I think you should get rid of the Illusens Earth Potion for a Honey Potion and get a Greater Healing Scroll instead of the Lesser one. You need a Downsize! as well and a freezer I suggest a Frost Cannon for now. The rings are alright but they're not doing enough damage so you need to upgrade them I suggest into Golden Compass since you have quite a lot of defence. Then get some of the useful faerie abilities like Sink and Drain Life and etc.

Your Set

Leaf Shield or you can use the hat or a Mystical White Cloak
Golden Compass
Ring Of The Lost
Honey Potion
Downsize!
Greater Healing Scroll
Purple Sticky Hand
Black Frost Cannon? I'm not too sure about this

I think that should be it I'm not sure on the budget though.
use ultrasteel helmet instead of mystical white cloak since you only battle for 1p and i might do a higher defence
I like Spongebob's suggestion of a Honey Potion (and GHS, and Downsize!). A freezer would be good, too, but if you can't afford the (rainbow or black) frost cannon on your current budget, Snowglobe Staff is fine. Definitely keep the RotL; those are going to keep going up in value.

Golden Compass is a lovely weapon, but since you have full dark blocking with the RotL, you don't need the two icons of dark defence from the compass and could go with a (cheaper, but good) Psellias Fighting Fan instead. Or, since it's 1-player only, even a cheap Stone Club or Ice Club (both are buyable and do a solid 9 icons) would be fine. Later, use the weapon you get from NQII. And have you ever considered something like Dusty Magic Broom? The light blocking would be nice, and the icon types would go well with the RotL. It's a little too expensive at the moment, though.

The other shields and stuff you have are good; hang on to the Leaf Shield, one Scarab Ring, the Patched Magic Hat, and the Sticky Hand, and rotate them in your set as needed. Scrap the other ring and the Lesser Healing Scroll and Illusens Earth Potion.

Faerie abilities... the best ones are burrow and sink. Some people find drain life useful, too, but I don't often use it. I like the 33% healing abilities: regeneration, restore and healing vapour (pick any one). The full blockers are also nice -- steam shield (all light), quench (all fire), and water breathing or boil (all water). And of course fiery gaze or diamond dust, for a possible extra freeze.
Oh so true Cran I forgot and yeah the Dusty Magic Brrom would definitely go with the Ring Of The Lost. Also is the Ultrasteel Helmet more expensive than the Cloak? Because if it's not then it doesn't really matter lol but I was just wondering.
guardian Wrote:Would you like to keep Ring of the LOst in the set or not? Because keeping it or selling it makes quite a difference with the budget/set to work with.

Even if I remove the ring of the lost from the set, it would only move into my galery of plot items.

mat Wrote:use ultrasteel helmet instead of mystical white cloak since you only battle for 1p and i might do a higher defence

I'm not sure I like either of those, remember, ring of the lost is already a full dark blocker.

I've been wondering just what does upgrade a scarab ring, it's 6 attack and 6 blocking, but as I don't always block 6 with it, I've been pondering the 9 iccon pure attack items, or about 9 iccon dual duties, just not sure what ones are within range for me.

As for downsize, is that hint to stop bothering to raise defence if your sugesting a non def related blocker?

Yes, I was concider it was likely time to upgrade the healing scroll, I should have done that before even posting this, sorry about that. I think I want to hold off on the freezer until I can simply go to black or rainbow frost cannon, skipping over the staff to improve my overall odds.

And the earth potion being underpower was actually the thing that told me I needed to post this more then anything else. I'm not sure if honey potion is safely in my cost range yet, but I'm sure I can make due on muffins and other such items. I can atleast make one attempt at illusen, and hope against unbuyables.

I sometimes wish I understood batteling better so that I could recognise and predict what the 1 player oponents are going to hit me with, and thus know what of my shields to use. Luckally this site has solid information to help me past my waterloo.

Thank you, I think I will work my way up to drain life, the two freezers, burow, sink, regeneration, quench (leanred to love that vs hasaki-lu, and... I guess I can actually pick the blockers baced on the oponent I intend to fight and the shield i kept, can't I?

I'm glad that my instincts about the compass arn't entirlly wrong, it looked good to me, but due to my full dark block, i wasn't quite sure.

I would like the fan, but as I only play 1 player, my budget asks me to go with whatever I can snipe cheepest in the 9 iccon range. I really want to stick to dual duties, because of my balanced stats, but the price of that broom, if that's what they cost in this range, I might have to abandon the idea

Thank you all for your help, I apreciate being draged, kicking and screaming, into the modern era.
+ Downsize!
+ Greater Healing Scroll
- lesser healing scroll
- illusens potion
- 2 scarab ring
+ ice club
+ green frost cannon

I've made my fairy abilities:
Sink
Burrow
Diamond Dust
Firey Gaze
Quench
Steam Shield
Regeneration

I would like it if I could get some reply to my comments on the answers to my orriginal question, I feel that I might get a better result with a dialog.

I've set asside doing any of the expencive things until we know the status of the comming plot/war.
Take out fiery gaze (same thing as diamond dust, but works less often) and throw in drain life. It's actually very useful in 1-player against opponents with a lot of hit points. Smile

IMO......

Yes the chance of them to work is low but you can double freeze (With Fiery gaze 1/8 chance to freeze and the freezer ) or even triple freeze (+ diamond dust 1/6 chance to freeze) but the chance is ...... you know......Smile

I suggest Patched Magic Hat over Leaf Shield since light is more common than water in low and mid level battling and it can get 3 more phy. def if received air dmg from opponent
Both fiery gaze and diamond dust are not going to freeze before you run out of power or die. Also, does diamond dust get removed from your list after it freezes, like burrow and sink, or can you keep using it anyway?
