i'm planning to commission an art project for iDB. i'm thinking 250K - 300K NP prize. i haven't played neopets in a long long time, and i don't know of 250K is worth anything.

250k is a nice chunk of change. i'm sure you'd get plenty of talented people with that.

Yeah, usually set contests on PPT run from 50-100K, and they get dozens of entries. 250K is still really hard to get, and most people would go for that.

Of course you can always give an item.... i do think 250k is a nice reward and you can said that those nps is just the base and can be more.

With 250K, you can buy two 9-iconers and have about 50K left over It's a good amount, certainly.

250k is about 5 days of restocking for noobs like me , certainly a fair amount.

yeah, i make about 20-50k a day.....so that is about a weeks worth of restocking/playing games......i wouldnt mind getting it

Its a fair amout I wouldn't go to far out of my way for it but I find it very nice that your willing to give that much out for a contest good luck

If it's a high-profile art thing, a lot of artists might do it for less than they normally would, just to get their work out there. I think 250k is a decent prize, anyway. It's definitely more than you get when you win a random contest on Neo, heh. I spent hours making a yarn painting of devilpuss and I got a first place, but my item prize was worth less than 20k, and the "neopoints prize" was a whopping 10k. I was happy with the trophy and avatar, though.

It's a good chunk to most people and a good idea...
