Many warriors have already prepared themselves for battle! Armed to the last toe, fighters from around Neopia gather at Neopia Central. As each pet and their owner sign a pledge to fight for their respective team, Dr. Sloth (me) zaps them with his ray gun and all those who have signed up are now teleported to island number 1.

It seems like as the many contestants arrive on the very small island #1, they are left without food or water, only the weapons they brought with them and a few snacks. The island is small and as pets and owners come to their senses, they find a Dr. Sloth Clone giving out maps. Otherwise, things are pretty peaceful out in the middle of no where.

Sharp-eyed pets (and the non-blind one's) also notice a giant list floating magically in the center of the lush meadow in which they have landed. On the list are names of some famous war heroes but also some lesser known fighters. Underneath is a clear message saying: Please yell out if there are errors on this list. And then beneath that in miniscule writing: But of course, Dr. Sloth never makes mistakes.

As, time rolls by, some of the restless pets begin to explore the island...looking for possible traps, dangers and/or even healing springs. However as they attempt to leave the grassy meadow and into the dark forest, a force field appears and knocks them back. Looks like all you contestants are stuck in this meadow!! Muhahahahahaha!
Note: In less than 72 hours from now, Dr. Sloth's teleport ray will start to malfunction and signups will end.

No food or water? My lupe may start eyeing chias if this keeps up (watch out, jojo, he's always thought that pea chia looks delicious ).

And that's the only reason that pea chia is walking around unharmed.

A pea chia can't be very filling. A chocolate chia, maybe, but not the pea kind.

Erm, my pet won't be in a battling state if it is getting starved
And as to how I feel... this is horrible!!

That Pea Chia is 59cm tall and weighs 70lb! That's a hell of a meal for a fluffy that is only 69cm tall and 129lb.

Sounds like it should be some esoteric tourist attraction out in the Midwest, not a battling pet.

So a meadow is going to be a place of some large battles... how ironic.

Haha, I hadn't even looked at its weight, Culex. That's almost as crazy as your 25 cm, 50 lb Darigan draik. Pet weights are almost always ridiculous, anyway... three out of the four pets on my main account weigh more than I do (my cybunny is only 93 pounds, but that's still pretty huge for a bunny rabbit ). And two of those pets are babies!

My little shoyru is not inclined to peas but... a chocolate meal would be more interesting... but i guess he can manage a couple of days. He just got bloated with pizza.
