Round Note: This round is insanely difficult to judge.

Pixalation - Citing the sources *fade* Sentencing in the cerise
I had to look up cerise. :S Lots of S sounds in this one. And I also know that cerise is the color now. This subtext doesn't sound too exciting for me. 7.5/10
Benladesh - [Bottom left] A bleeding heart, [Bottom right] Sorrowed by the curse of conviction.
I supposed this works. However, you have put a more depressing mood on the signature, when it in fact isn't. It's a dark, murky sig, but not sad. 7.5/10
Lord_Owlstar - Top: "Caught red-handed"
Bottom: "It's time to face the jury"
I feel this could use a bit of more depth. However, I like the style of the wording. 8/10
brett618 - In this courtroom *fade* no one *stop fading* is safe
I don't think all the fades are necessary. And I think the subtext is a cheesy one. If you're obviously innocent then you're safe.
6.5/10
professorelite - *under just edgeworth, to the right of center* No offense may be left unpunished
I was looking for something that would relate more to the darkness of the sig, but this works generally. 8/10
Blk Mage - The Crimson Conviction that lies within...
Emo dots for the win. Crimson Conviction makes a good sound to say, and I think it helps (along with the emo dots
) for the darkish feeling that would go with the sig. 8.5/10

Round note: Judging these subtexts was very difficult, I actually entered each subtext onto the sig to evaluate them side by side and researched the game.
Pixalation - Citing the sources *fade* Sentencing in the cerise
Sibilantly stark subtext that seems totally clinical - This sig is dark and emotional like the character it depicts. The overuse of alliteration detracts from your subtext. 7/10
Benladesh - [Bottom left] A bleeding heart, [Bottom right] Sorrowed by the curse of conviction.
This would have worked just as well without the "A bleeding heart" which is somewhat disjointed. That said, your text is great, conveying the dark emotions of the character and matches the image well 9.5/10
Lord_Owlstar - Top: "Caught red-handed"
Bottom: "It's time to face the jury"
Again this was a bit disjointed between the phrases however you have picked up on the accusatory nature of the image, so it works 8/10
brett618 - In this courtroom *fade* no one *stop fading* is safe
With enough space on this sig, the fades were perhaps unnecessary. Slightly cliched wording, but conveys the darker side of the sig character. 7.5/10
professorelite - *under just edgeworth, to the right of center* No offense may be left unpunished
I was a bit lost on how to describe my thoughts on this one. Best to say that while I think the idea was good, the words themselves are good, there does not seem to be the "edge" I was looking for in this subtext 8/10
Blk Mage - The Crimson Conviction that lies within...
Wow. Six words that totally sum up, the image, the character depicted and the dark emotions! Even the ellipses work to add to the feeling. 9.5/10

Round: Dunno about you, but I personally think the guy he's pointing to is dead.
Pixalation - Citing the sources *fade* Sentencing in the cerise
This seems a little too technical to me. =\ Doesn't seem to fit the mood of the signature very well either. - 7/10
Benladesh - [Bottom left] A bleeding heart, [Bottom right] Sorrowed by the curse of conviction.
Err... not exactly sure what to say about this one. I guess a "bleeding heart" could be taken both ways, heh. - 8/10
Lord_Owlstar - Top: "Caught red-handed"
Bottom: "It's time to face the jury"
I'm not exactly sure "Caught red-handed" would apply... to what looks like a corpse. If he looked alive, I think this would've worked better. Red-handed seems unfitting for this signature, though. - 7/10
brett618 - In this courtroom *fade* no one *stop fading* is safe
Too many fades, tons of room, doesn't exactly look like a courtroom... you get the idea.
- 6/10professorelite - *under just edgeworth, to the right of center* No offense may be left unpunished
I actually kinda like this one. It's left openended enough and the wording is good. - 8.5/10
Blk Mage - The Crimson Conviction that lies within...
I realize that you did put "that lies within" to fill up space, it just sounds a little corny.
Perhaps something else would've worked even better, but other than that, good job. - 9/1009-26-2006, 06:38 PM

If you live in the United States, west of about the middle of Kansas, you are not apt to have the flashing type of fireflies in your area.
NOTE: not my subtext submission >_>
