Now before I add up the scores, I'm going to post a block of lyrics to the song that "inspired" me to make the Downtown sig.
Also to annoy graphite, and so that people will have to scroll through it to find out who won. Suspenseful.
When you're alone and life is making you lonely
You can always go - downtown
When you've got worries, all the noise and the hurry
Seems to help, I know - downtown
Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city
Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty
How can you lose?
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares
So go downtown, things'll be great when you're
Downtown - no finer place, for sure
Downtown - everything's waiting for you
Don't hang around and let your problems surround you
There are movie shows - downtown
Maybe you know some little places to go to
Where they never close - downtown
Just listen to the rhythm of a gentle bossa nova
You'll be dancing with them too before the night is over
Happy again
The lights are much brighter there
You can forget all your troubles, forget all your cares
So go downtown, where all the lights are bright
Downtown - waiting for you tonight
Downtown - you're gonna be all right now
[Instrumental break]
And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you
Someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to
Guide them along
So maybe I'll see you there
We can forget all our troubles, forget all our cares
So go downtown, things'll be great when you're
Downtown - don't wait a minute more
Downtown - everything's waiting for you
Downtown, downtown, downtown, downtown ...

A city inundated with elegance...
I like this, relates both to the actual 'flooded' city and gives an old world feel to the sig
8.5/10
The sounds of a million tiny waterfalls
'Sounds' does not quite fit with the sig but love the imagery
7.5/10
The Drizzle of Life within the Mist
I would expect to see this on a poster or something, rather than a sig but I like the imagery of the subtext 8/10
*********************************************
Now enjoy my wasting hue *fade* my days of beauty are few
Use of the fade helped here. Would have preferred another word to wasting, something like ''vibrant" but overall very good 8/10
Floral Serenity
Simple and elegant but expected 8.5/10
Exquisite *fade* Glorious *fade* Beautiful *fade* you...
Again simple and elegant, relates well to both reader and user 8.5/10
*********************************************
Ever Changing, Ever Growing, Never Stopping
I loved the analogy between the user and the image. Well done 9/10
*top middle* Same old place, but seldom the same people
I like the use of old to link with the sepia tones of the sig. Depending on the user this subtext would work 8.5/10
Life is just around the corner
Did not feel this subtext related as well to either the image or the user but still a good subtext 8/10

Secondly... Graphite's ratings:

*top left corner* A city inundated with elegance...
At first glance, I had no clue what this means, since I don't know hat inundated means. So I thought it has no relavance to the sig. So I looked it up...and then I get it. I think that's a huge downfall of this subtext, which is otherwise nice. 7/10
The sounds of a million tiny waterfalls
This sounds pretty dull to me. It has little to do with the image of the city in the sig. 6.5/10
The Drizzle of Life within the Mist
"Drizzle" definitely matches the gloominess of the sig. And I don't see mist...unless you mean that white stuff on the right. Overall, a good subtext. 8/10
*across the bottom* Now enjoy my wasting hue *fade* my days of beauty are few
A bit long, don't you think? The rhyming is nice, the tone is nice. Well done. 8/10
Floral Serenity
I like this one most for this sig. It's short and sweet, yet it has the sophisticated feel to it. 9/10
Exquisite *fade* Glorious *fade* Beautiful *fade* you...
Aww, how cute. You made the subtext for me.Just kidding. I hope you didn't. I dunno, I feel "glorious" is pushing it a bit. 8/10
Downtown sig note: jfkdlfda I hate you WIS for making me judge this one.
Ever Changing, Ever Growing, Never Stopping
I like the idea, but after reading this about 20 times it's too repetitive. 7.5
*top middle* Same old place, but seldom the same people
I like the take on this. Especially the (probably) most insignificant part, which is "same OLD place" which just pushes more on the sepia color. 8/10
Life is just around the corner
I understand how you came up with this, but I would've liked to see you incorporate the large "Downtown" in the text more. Something like "Life is just....(Downtown)" or something would've been better for me. 7/10

I thought this was very clever, and very nice word choice.Nice job.
Fits the mood of the signature very well, and relates to it also.
- 9.5/10
The sounds of a million tiny waterfalls
I like the effect this subtext has. How I can just imagine hearing the sound of rain. I wish you had related it to the city a little bit more, though. But overall, a pretty good subtext. - 8/10
The Drizzle of Life within the Mist
I quite like this one. It's a clever metaphor, or maybe I'm just reading too much into this. It subtley relates to the signature, and it works very well.- 9/10
*across the bottom* Now enjoy my wasting hue *fade* my days of beauty are few
It does like the color is dripping out of the lilies, the first line gives a nice image. I think you could've done something else with the same idea, though. As it does seem a little long. Perhaps something shorter would have worked better. I dont really think the second line fits into this though. - 8/10
Floral Serenity
It's simple, and it works. A littel cliche as I'm sure the same concept has been used a lot of times, but it works.- 8.5/10
Exquisite *fade* Glorious *fade* Beautiful *fade* you...
Hmm... I like the idea behind this, but perhaps you should've shortened the message somehow by combining words, thus making less fades, or even just no fades, and have something like "Exquisitly Beautiful". It's catchy, though.- 8/10
Ever Changing, Ever Growing, Never Stopping
This is a good message, especially the last part. It seems a little over-used though, a little cliche.- 8/10
*top middle* Same old place, but seldom the same people
I like this one.Especially "old" to emphasize the sephia tone effect. - 9/10
Life is just around the corner
Heh, clever. But the same problem with the first one, such a subtext seems a little cliche. But it's actually pretty clever. - 8.5/10

Wow this is so cool. First place who would've thought! I'd like to thank WIS for hosting this game in the first place, gemma and graphitesmoothie for being the judges. Also great job to both benladesh and
professorelite for the great subtext in the last round, looking over all 3 of them, never knew how it was gonna turn out. And great job WIS for finding out the whole life=water in the first sig. Googling Venice was a smart move afterall, lol.
So just thanks again.=D

Ahh no one got my Million waterfalls thing..Its because Venice has a lot of water..and a waterfall falls into water. So millions of droplets drop into the water like a waterfall..
