Well the ads on neo have finally hit them smack in the face. Apparently one of the advertisements contains a trojan. Unless you have an Ad Blocker I don't suggest going onto neopets. I think I've been infected,??it took 10 boots to get my PC started.
Its the weekend and this problem might not be fixed until the week so I just want to warn everyone to be careful before going onto neopets.

Probably, but still be careful, there is a chance you have not blocked that advert, and your adblock might only be hiding the ads, not blocking them. Make sure your anti-virus is up to date or dwnload Avast from the link above.

Apparently there is an advert for Louis Vutton that contains trojans. If you have seen this advert, scan your computer.
Well I am in the middle of a PC scan with Avast and it has found a trojan which I got yesterday while I was on neopets. So there are trojans in the ads.
Yet more reason to suggest Firefox over IE for neopets browsing. As far as I know there aren't any reliable adblockers for IE...

Sorry, I don't know which one it is. If you're confident your anti-virus will stop the trojans (make absolutely sure you know this for a fact; don't risk it) then you can go to the shop of offers and block every single advert there. The one containing the trojan may or may not be there.
If you've been blocking advertsup to now, you have probaly already blocked it.
Well, my Norton is totally up to date, no updates availible, but I'll stay off Neo anyway.

Better if everyone stays away from neo for a while. Getting your comp virus will most likely force you to reformat it.
