gloat: w00t!!! just clinched 3rd in my bracket in Munster's 2p tourney.

Edit Update: Now I've clinched 2nd!! Getting to 1st is going to be very hard though, as I'll have to beat the guy who beat me previously, and I have to do it twice.

Update 2: We're now 1-1-1 in the first match. This is nerve-wrackingly tense.

Congrats! Did you face any uber-rich players? I'm struggling in bracket 4 lol.

Fortunately the uber-rich players in my bracket have most of thier NP tied up in their size 831 and 947 shops and not currently in uber-sets. At least I hope that where my next opponents NP is, as I know he upgraded within the past month. So mainly I'm battling against sets that cost only 3x what mine does.

But to keep this on-topic for gloating: I did beat a friend (who shall remain anonymous here) of mine again in a fun battle while we were waiting for our tourney opponents, and her set is quite possibly in the "uber-rich" category. Her set's probably around 10x what mine is. I have screenies of all 13 rounds, and if I ever get around to blacking her pet name out I'll post them.

Cry : Suffered from brutal loss in the 2p tourney I was defeated within two rounds! Freeze and bomb

Gloat: With the NCW rare challengers tourney I'm now on my first 1p high score table.

Cry: It wasn't half what I needed to win my bracket there.

Reply to previous question: It was a combination of stats advantage, tactics and luck (I took full advantage of a couple blunders my opponents made). I'd like to say that it wasn't the weapons as I was still majorly outgunned there, but the weapons I do have are very well suited to a pet with stats as unbalanced as mine.

About three or so years ago, shortly after Turmy was released, most of the 1337 BDers hadn't gotten him as a Challenger. During that time, I somehow managed to scrape out thirteen wins against him and push myself onto the High Score Chart with a 125 Strength Boost Pet.

Now, three years later, I've pushed onto his High Score Chart once again. Do I get extra points for knocking Jasmine off of it, ?
