Okay, I'm bored right now, so even though (like I said) it's been a while since I fought these guys, I'll try to work out a strategy for you. If it works, you should barely squeak out a win. But they are still a little tough for you.
First, they have 175 HP, which means they have the 125 boosts in strength and defence -- they're much stronger than you with your 55 str boost. If you can't beat them yet, try at 85 strength and it will be easier. But the strategy's basically gonna be to freeze 'em so they can't hurt you, and then defend like crazy. Grab a cheap freezer like a green frost cannon for now; you can easily resell if you don't like it. (I mention this later, but also get a shooting star muffin and a thick smoke bomb and forget the leaf shield.) Also, the only icon they can defend is physical*, so you will be using RSB more than the Comb. And finally, if they freeze you at any time during this fight, withdraw and heal or you're dead.
*(I just realized that if they use sink or drain life, it'll mess up this strategy, but... what can you do. You're already overmatched, so just give it a try and maybe you'll get lucky. I'm just going to calculate damage assuming they'll use cautious all the time, so these are rough estimates.)
Round 1: Green Frost Cannon, Downsize, Nimmo Chant (Withdraw and heal if you don't freeze.) (Let's assume you'll do only a little damage, maybe 14.)
Round 2: Honey Potion, Comb or RSB, fierce attack (You will do approx. 64-73 damage.)
Round 3: Comb, RSB, Burrow (You'll do 30 damage if they block your phys and 40 if they don't -- and of course will do more if they use fierce or berserk.)
By this point you will have done somewhere in the neighborhood of 108-127 damage (conservative estimate), meaning they could have as many as 67 HP left, so you're going to have to last a few more rounds. I would actually suggest you withdraw, heal and try again if they have more than 52 hp left, or else you are probably going to die. So, okay, let's say you've gotten them down to 50ish HP. Now we'll continue.
It would be much easier if you had sink, but since you don't... you may want to grab a thick smoke bomb (to use only if you need to -- I'm a fan of buying them and using them on the very last turn of a fight if I know I can win, but would die without the tsb. That way they aren't wasted). You will also want this year's (fairly cheap) advent weapon, shooting star muffin. Forget the leaf shield; it's useless to you here.
Round 4: Shooting Star Muffin, Greater Healing Scroll, defend (You will do probably 24ish damage. With the heal, you should be able to survive this hit unless you are very unlucky and they use both their best weapons and berserk. Don't worry if you are almost dead; you won't be hurt next turn.)
Round 5: Thick Smoke Bomb, RSB, fierce attack (You will do 28ish damage.)
If you did what I said and made sure they were around 50ish HP after round 3, they should now be dead. If they're not... use some weapons and defend and hope for the best. And then train to 85 str and try again.
Wow, that was long and probably overly complicated (but I really wanted to show you how much damage you could expect to do, to show why you're overmatched). Told you I was bored.
