Yeah I got something similar while actually in FM.
I got :
'Already joined a Guild'
then I lagged for a second and got -
'The guild you are trying to join is already at max people' or some such stuff.
I logged out quickly, I wasn't going to stick around to see what would or wouldn't happen. I was the only one on at the time, and was aware it'd been happening to AFK people. However, did not exactly know it could happen while just entering FM. Didn't know about the chat invite thing either.

This whole thing is really starting to bother me now. Incase anybody hasn't seen it, here is a new notice from nexon, regarding the guild hack stuff.
http://forum.nexon.net/MapleStory/forums...spx#907588
A lot of people are saying that Nexon is going to have to roll back everything, just to save the guilds, because it would be impossible to just roll back guilds. That would include EXP gained, items gained, mesos gained... everything. All gone. Whether a person was affected by this or not, they would be if there was a roll back.
I personally hope that they can think of a better solution, though the easiest one for them would be the roll back I would have thought, because its the most obvious. Obviously other solutions like just getting a record of all leaders and guild names and slots and anything else important, then deleting the whole lot and setting it up again with just the leaders so they can fix their own guilds would be better, but Nexon aren't the most intellegent people on earth, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did just go for rollback o_O
Of course its possible that a lot of people are wrong, and a fair bit of what I have said is built on assumptions, I might be being a little negative about Nexon, and there is good chance that they will think of a better solution. However, I'm not really convinced that everything will work out well, and the possibility of my sin going back to level 30, having to redo all my scroll quests, and me losing all my coins is not a good thought. And I am sure that others would lose even more than me.

I really doubt they can't just rollback guilds. I'm not a master of databases or anything, but odds are it's separate information.

I'm pretty sure it's possible for them to rollback just one thing; especially when that one thing is as important to maple as guilds. It's probably all kept record of, and that record should be safe somewhere, so they can very likely just reset them. If they did do a complete rollback, I'd be pretty pissed, 'cause it would mean I'd have to start my bandit ALL OVER AGAIN.

Kuge Wrote:I don't know if it's true, but I've heard that a GM (err, I guess it's a GM) has mentioned to a few people that all guilds affected will be rolled back, and characters will not be affect. They mentioned the name Kristy or something, but eh, I know nothing about Khaini GMs.
But yeah, I don't know if this is legit or not.
This is what I've heard about it. I really hope it doesn't end up being a complete rollback. The last 'accidental' one I wasn't effected by it at all.. though I should've been. If it does become a complete one.. then aggh just aggh. I'd be completely broke again. lol.

After tonights (kinda pointless I think) server check, I am guessing that a rollback isn't as likely.
If they were going to rollback, then wouldn't they have just done that in the server check tonight? What they are going to do must be some how benefitted by the guilds not getting any more messed up than they already are. A roll back, they could be completly destroyed and still recovered.
Or the server check was just to test if what they did is going to stop the hackers, so they know whether or not it is worth the trouble of restoring guilds at this stage, could have been that I guess.
Or, because it's Nexon that we are talking about here, the logic behind it could be something not able to be understood by any human being
Also, Toggy posted this link on irc, that I thought was kinda interesting

Over 2000 people banned though over it... wow o_O

Tell us something new please, lol...
Though a server check is scheduled for today, so that may or may not do something

New notice went up quite recently, incase people havn't seen it...
Sounds like guilds have been restored completly, goodluck to you lot with that, hopefully your guild was fixed as well.
EDIT: I have just been told that I completly misunderstood that message, and "resolved" just means patched the problem and not actually fixed the damage.

So is anybody else having problems with MS? For some reason it won't let me log in because I can't type my password...Any suggestions?

Some people on SW are having the same problem. I don't know what the cause is. I hear copy-pasting password will work.
