I'm undecided about which skill to not max - so please vote and add a comment about why I shouldn't max it Smile

Edit: I think I've pretty much decided... but I'll leave this open. Also, poll closed.
I'd say maybe dispel or DOOM

without max dispel, getting into zakum's party is nearly impossible. Also there are quite alot of abnormal stats monsters in other verisons.

Doom at level 1 has a 50% chance, maxed doom has about 95% chance. They, however, have different effecting time and mp usage. All levels doom lower monsters' weapon atk, weapon/magic defence, accuracy/avoid, resistance/weakness (that means you can freeze an ice-based monster!) and skills. (no changes on drops, exp, hp and mp) It is a good skill with so many high level monsters coming soon but is maxing it important?

Summon Dragon, similar to summoning eagles/hawks, attack slower than Thunder Spear. (they have to charge for a long time) Also it is not a nice skill to have when you are playing rog run with noobs. However if you don't want to see no exps when an arm of zakum breaks, put some points on it is great as all you can do in the zakum party is heal, dispel, Holy Symbol and some quick skills. There is no time to cast Shinning Ray in zakum party. (you may survive but hermits in your party may not) Low level Summon Dragon will not do well due to its effecting time and huge damage difference. (damage difference does not effect much if zakum party)

Element Resistance + Invincible = Nearly invincible. Especially priests' element resistance skill is for all magic with an element (that means Bain's fireballs, Zombie's poison breathe, kitties magic attack will be resisted but non-element attacks like rog claw, squids tentacles will NOT be resisted)

Need me to say about Shinning Ray? Mike you don't have Holy Arrow, you are not going to claw till level 120....

One thing more, level 2 or higher level mystic door is not greater than level 1 if your party are not full of super lagging players.

I'd say doom, because if you really need to turn monsters into snails, you can just cast it multiple times for the same effect. However, with the other skills, you can't do that. Also, maybe you could take some points out of mystic door to put into doom.
I say dispel, as well, I don' know Toungue
For me, it would've been either Doom/Dragon. And I probably would've left Dragon at 0, since GIR convinced me how godly Doom is.

However, since you're a super-hardcode party cleric, you might want to skip Shining Ray.. Or just leave is at 10.. Claw Life Smile
I think Summon Dragon should not be maxed. It's just not effective. It's also not cost-effective.
If your using it constantly then you'll need to buy the summoning stones. Which cost quite a bit.

Ace, there's nothing wrong with an independent attack that does a fair bit of damage. Cost-effectiveness is there- why do Hermits use Shadow Partner and Archers use their Birds if the effects aren't worth the cost?

Because Thrust sucks and bowmen need somewhere to put their remaining points Toungue . And for Hermits, it is cost effective once maxed.

EDIT: Doom can be used on Goby Houses? Ohmy

Um....there is a point to bowmen for their birds. They have a high stunning rate and its really helpful for the long rangers.

My point is that bowmen don't have other good, interesting skills to put their points into.??Doom is useful, however, turning entire mobs of Grim Phantom Watches and Vikings into snails and killing them without taking any damage.??It'd enable a priest to train solo, which is nearly impossible otherwise.??Of course, they'd have to max Shining Ray also... and Doom would have to be the maximum duration, to ensure that the monsters were killed before they turned back.

Mike, with Mystic Door left at level 1, won't you be able to get Dragon to at least level 10 or something?

But the cost is too high Dead And solo priests can always heal. What's the point of all the money saving skills at Clerics have.
