Eh, back from my vacation. It appears there's a lot to go through, so I might as read back through it before I voice my thoughts. (will edit this unless I die before I get a chance to, or something.

) I wasn't expecting to miss the vote, though.
Edit - Okay, here it goes (And it will be long).
First of all, if anyone (for any reason) thinks that I "don't play the game", then that's too bad. I put a
lot into just about every game I play, and if that can't be seen by the MC's or other players, then what am I going to do about it? If they can't see the work that I'm doing, then am I just supposed to shout out in the thread things that are suppose to be held within a small group of people? I'm not going to go out of my way on the thread and pretend to be doing things that I'm not doing just because someone wants to see "content" on the thread, neither am I going to post just to post, because the thread isn't greatly active. I understand that, yes, there are players that
continously only post to bandwagon, and continue to do that the entire game, but only
those players can get themselves active. I don't believe it's the responsibility of any other player to make sure that other players are posting meaningful things on the thread, just like it's not my job to take care of someone else's kids. It's ridiculous to ask that of someone.
I've seen two things mentioned that I disagree with. First is Ryguy mentioning that everyone who comes out and accuses someone or names their suspicions "loudly" on the thread are the first to die. I've found this to be false. I'm usually very loud with my suspicions, even more now that I have been in the past, and I've noticed that they last 10 games or so, I've been living a
lot longer than I ever have before, when I should be getting killed because supposedly I'm some sort of "threat" to the baddies. I don't see the "loud person dying" thing happening as often as it used to (maybe on iDB, even though I haven't really noticed it here either). Basically, I just don't think it's right to claim that you aren't posting that much merely on the basis that if you post something discriminating, that you "might" die. Unless you're a dreamer, or some other useful role (or evil), then what's the problem with possibly getting a baddie, but also having a slight chance of dying along with that? Isn't that the game?
The second is something I believe Stim mentioned in groupies. Sorry, but your little bit about "The good old days" can only be described as some sort of illusionary utopia. Those "good old days" aren't going to come back. I agree that, yes, if everyone were actively involved on the thread that there would be no distinct targets, but you know as well as I do that as long as there are people playing the game that aren't that talkative, there's absolutely nothing that you, myself, or anyone else can do about this (well, I suppose you could always permanently ban, or at least temporarily ban, everyone that isn't talkative, but not only is that completely totalitarian and overboard, but that 's still not going to solve the problem). I want everyone to be active as much as the next person, but using that as a basis against some of the points Ryguy made? That's not going to work.
Now to the Jetman business. I wasn't expecting everyone to just jump onto that, but I guess it turned out better than I expected, since now, more than ever I'm convinced that Jetman is evil.
