I'm just asking if it's wise to upgrade my set now, because the weapons are inflated, due to the rumours. Yesterday, I saw the Golden Compass is still around 200k, but today, it has gone up to 400k. But I really want to upgrade my set. what should i do? Wait or do it now?
That is actually a tough question to answer. The only way is for you to ask yourself: what is the purpose of your upgrade? If it's for war, I suggest that you make do with a cheaper, more temporary set that is good in 1 player. Forget about variety, or which icons gets blocked more or what not. Think about how to deal with the most number of icons regardless of icon types.
If you looking to get a set on a permanent basis regardless of type of battle, I suggest you wait out till the weapons deflate in price and just concentrate on training
Look on the Trading Post again. Because of rarity and selling competition, the price dropped once again, but is still higher than pre-plot prices. The Trading Post is currently filled with lots saying "Taking offers" or "Taking less than TP," with one priced at 220k, and several others at 300k.
I think you might be able to buy one for 200-220k before the 220k lot is sold.

Arghh,... I was too slow and now at the TP all the GC are selling for 300k
