sos averages 3 icons physical, the real use of that item comes in where someone goes cutlass + sos or something for 8 physical icons. then your little y-sling does 6 icons and blocks 8 more.
not the greatest weapon, but for non defense trainers it might be OK
I wasn't active enough to get a lot of points. I just didn't have the time..but I was active enough to get the Darigan book, and 10k for answering mvp's correctly. That suits me just fine. 200k and already rising from the start, that book. I just want a yooyu though. They so cute! Also wish I'd had the ponts for that yooyuball sling. It's a winged scarab and a weapon all in one. Meh. I'll go spend my whole 59 points on..something. 
Still, it was a pretty good system. The game was easy. I just didn't ever have much time to play. I hope the plot prizes are decent. Maybe I'll actually be able to get something for this one. o.0

I think the best use of this item is in wars and such, when you face weapons like
Bennys Blade and
Taleks Ornate Scimitar, just to name a few. I wouldn't use it in my day-to-day set, but if I had the money, I might keep one in my SDB for special situations, like finding out an opponent uses Asparachucks or something.

I like the blocking of all phys because most weapons have a least SOME Phys in it.

and the sos and pcc are 11 and 16 mil respectively. This might not be a bad price at 5 mil.
not a great weapon, but not a lousy investment eitehr. im too broke to buy one (i made a big spending spree 3 weeks ago, so i dont have to worry about this), but if i were in position to buy one id at least have to think hard about it
1.7k something points for the game. Played 153 games only cos I hardly had time. But I submitted my loss and draws as well.??Got myself a devotee trophy (Darigan), a yooyu, the darigan book, 1001 yooyuball tricks and two keyrings.
I also got 11k NPs from the MVP poll, and 5k from staff tournament. 3 avatars as well.
Not a bad haul. Prefer this more to puzzle plot, but dang, I MISS WAR!
EDIT: I was just thinking. Since the Halloween Paint Brush was given away as to sort of semi commemorate Haunted Woods win, does anyone ever wonder if the Darigan Paint Brush would be
the paintbrush given out if Darigan Citadel were to win? I wonder what would happen to the cost of teh brush at the tower if it is so...
Uhm. I got 5,984 points in the cup, and I'm still trying to decide what to do with such ammount.
Should I Get a Stamp and the Yooyuball Keepers Guard or a bunch of books and stamps?

yeah, good call, if they are going to repeat altador cup it probably won't be for another 4 years... oh well
