But what can they do with it? It's obvious the missing is found [I don't know their name] as a new game with them as the star has been made [or at least the trophies and game button have]. Is it going to be like the mystery island plot? I really can't see it going anywhere, and I'm really disappointed in TNT. They now have an old plot with no prizes as of yet [star plotting] and a non-plot going on which really isn't...

I don't think it's possible to know for sure who is guilty, as more than one person is obviously lying, or at least misremembering. A few inconsistencies:
The chef claims he stole a knife for carving purposes, but the shoyru says he inspected his weapons after dinner and nothing was missing -- the chef didn't take the knife until later, when the shoyru was doing his rounds. Did he take it to carve something the following day? Because that's odd.
The ruki says he fixed a leak early in the storm, but the kougra claims she helped him fix that leak near the end of the storm.
At 5:00, the chef claims he talked to a calm Hoban, but at that time the ruki says he heard Hoban arguing with someone on the aft deck -- and his comic shows him and the chef talking, wondering who Hoban could be fighting with. So who's lying, chef or ruki?
Anyway, some friends and I each took a comic and did a little chart, with what each person claimed to be doing and where they were at each time, plus who was with them and whatnot... and we still can't get it, because of all these conflicts. I think it may be a "guess and hope for the best" kind of thing, or perhaps this isn't really the end of the plot.

Actually, for the 5:00 thing, it's possible that Bonju talked to a calm Hoban, who then talked to Linae and got worked up again. Linae did say she worked next to Hoban twice, but no times were mentioned. There are also two times where Hoban was supposedly arguing with an unknown person, one of which happened before Hoban was in a bad mood (which makes me positive the first argument, at least, was with Linae).
Also, we know that 5pm is the earliest Hoban could have left the ship, provided only one person is lying. I'm guessing that the six possible coordinates, which match up to the red X's on the grid, correspond to the six possible times. 5pm would be G19, and 6pm should be I22.

I do think it's either Linae or the Ruki, who just seems suspicious to me for reasons I can't quite put my finger on... but which mostly have to do with him claiming he talked to the chef at 5 when the chef says he was elsewhere with Hoban. Why would the chef claim to have been alone with Hoban when he could have said "oh yeah, I was talking to the Ruki at 5"? His own story incriminates him more than the Ruki's does. I dunno, it's all so complicated. I do agree that the storm probably ended around 6, so Hoban probably went overboard at 5. I'm not sure about the map yet... it depends on which time you decide the circle stands for.

The only times given in the story are 3:00, 4:00, 5:00, and "a couple of hours."

Linae and Anshu both repaired the "leak" right before the storm ended, when Hoban was most likely already off the ship.
Note that the storm lasted at least "a couple of hours" by Kentari's word, and the 5:00 argument was most likely with Kentari. This also confirms with Bonju that the storm began at 3:00, if "a couple" refers to the number 2. No time is specified between the argument and the time the storm ends. I think I must trust either Kentari or Anshu completely to recieve an accurate time table.

If it's done like whodunnit... then we'll assume everyone talking the truth... yet everyone not completely remember their own story (ie how come the captain didn't notice that anshu and hoban was arguing while he was on the deck)
