how come i can only play maplestory on an admin account but i cant play ms on a guest account?

anyone know

I'm not familiar with what a guest account can and cannot do, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say that MS does some things that need some priveliges that only an admin account has.

Yep. Try playing a new character on a Guest Account. No keys are set. It just dioesn't work for some reason.

You can get it to function normally, but you need to set some file and registry permissions. I forget what I did, but I can patch and play it on a limited account now.

I played MS on a guest account about a year ago. To get the keys set, all you have to do is open the set keys thing and set it to default, then adjust to your preferences. Then in game preferences, you just check everything, then your good to go.

umm, that didnt answer my question, i meant i cant even open maplestory under a guest account

like when i open game guard, it says some thing like the server is down or like the connection might be laggy

but that never happened on an admin account

The particular security settings of your Guest account prevent GameGuard from being able to shut down hacking programs. It then refuses to start up maple.

this is what it says when i open game guard

"Unable to connect to the GameGuard update server. Please try reconnecting later, or check the network connection"

Yep, that's what it is. Also, make sure MapleStory is exceptioned by your firewall.
