Messy list from my notes, but it's got everything... items were going to be a bit more involved and there were going to be ways to get more, but I ran out of time. Otherwise you would have been accidentally calling up sea monsters and stuff.
Everyone played well though, and I have to say I was very impressed with how well Forte used the parrot role. Good game to all of you, it was fun.

1. Spaz
Ninja wanna-be: You?ve come to the conclusion that ninjas are in fact superior to pirates, which is a dangerous position to take when stuck at sea on a pirate ship? however, you wish to be a ninja despite failing your one and only martial arts lesson. If there are indeed true ninjas on this ship, you can?t very well show yourself openly, but you can warn them of any more worldly pirates that might recognize that they are, in fact, the enemy.
1. Each night you may search a pirate?s room to try and find the most cultured pirate on the ship, the only one not too drunk to recognize a ninja when they see it. PM me a list of five names before Night begins and you will investigate the first person still alive at the end of Night. (To the cultured pirate, you do not appear to be a ninja.)
2. Should the last member of the ninja team die out, you will become a true ninja, with the appropriate abilities and appearance for such a status.
3. If ninjas do try to attack you, the attack will simply fail.
4. You can leave your book on ninjas to another player in the event of your death. This player will act as your heir if he or she is not already aligned with an evil team. PM me to assign your heir. Once assigned, you cannot change your heir except in the event of said heir's death.
Items:
Locket of literacy: This grants you a little bit of extra protection.
(Spaz was the ONLY person to sign up as the directions stated.
)
2. Kugetsu
Captain Jack Sparrow: You, love, are the clever, perpetually drunk Jack Sparrow. Captain Jack Sparrow, actually. You don?t know how or why you?re on Captain Lack?s ship in the first place, but you?ll be sure to use this situation to your advantage. However, you must choose who you?re rooting for?
PM me with your decision of whether you are a supporter of those innocent or those mischievous before Night 1 begins. (If you choose innocents, you will win if the innocent team wins; if you choose evil, you will win should any evil team win.)
Items:
Pistol ? This pistol has one shot that you may fire at any time. To use it, PM lackadazed with a list of 5 people and I will post the results of your shot as soon as possible.
Captain?s hat ? once during the game, you may stay an execution by impersonating the captain. PM lackadazed prior to execution time on the day that you wish to use this item.
3. oogabooga
4. The Ship?s Ghost: Well, you?re actually a fairly average pirate, but you managed to get yourself possessed by the ghost of another average pirate who met a very unfortunate end in a swordfight? and he has some unfinished business around here.
On odd nights, you may follow a player to see who or what they are targeting. To do so, PM me with a list of five names before Night begins and you will follow the first one who survives the night.
4. theonlysaneone
Dice Addict: You like to gamble a little too much? but each day you may PM me with a name that you bet will die that Night. If your guess is correct, you will gain 50% protection for the next Night.
5. professorelite
The Cultured Pirate: Unlike many of these unworldly brutes, you?ve traveled the globe, and you?ve clearly been to Singapore! As a result of your experiences, you start to notice that some on this ship may not be the pirates they appear to be?
Each night, you may PM me a list of 5 names. You will investigate the first person still alive at the end of the night for signs of anything suspiciously unpirate-like.
6. kagemucha
Captain John Wolfe: You?ve come to dislike the current captain and would much prefer to take over her job yourself. Unfortunately for you, you?re surrounded by pirates loyal to the current captain, or at least apathetic to your cause, and you must develop a following and rid the ship of those dissenters for your mutiny to have a chance. More fortunately for you, you?re an excellent swordfighter and can find many uses for your weapon?
1. Four times during the course of the game, you may attempt to ?convince? a loyal pirate that you would indeed be a better captain of the ship. To do this, simply PM lackadazed a list of five names before Night ends, and you will attempt to convert the first person still alive during Night. If you attempt to convert a member of an evil group or a nonconvertible innocent, your attempt will fail. However, it will succeed should you happen across a solo baddie. (Note: converted players keep their original role abilities in addition to their new role.)
2. Twice during the game, you may kill another player. Just PM me a list of 5 names and the first player alive will be targeted. The results of this will be posted as soon as possible. (In the event of your death, your remaining kills will go to your teammates)
Items:
Dice ? once during the game, you may bet on who will die the following night. If you win, you may get a chance to rest and dream for once?
7. ryguy
The Deckswabber: You became a pirate in hopes of finding treasure and excitement, and yet somehow, you?re stuck here, swabbing the deck day in and day out. At least you have the option of going down in a blaze of glory instead of being murdered mop-in-hand: Before the start of each Night, you may PM lackadazed a list of three players. If the first player alive at the beginning of Night is then attacked, you will die in their place.
8. watericesage
Ninja: You found your way onto a pirate ship, not for wealth or adventure, but to prove once and for all that ninjas are superior to these drunken searats that call themselves pirates. You?re stealthy enough that the fact that you aren?t pirates isn?t easy to detect, but be careful?
1. Before Night 1, your team must decide on a spokesperson. The spokesperson will send in lists and act as the leader of your team, should one be needed.
2. Each night you may send me a list of players you wish to kill. PM lackadazed with a list of five names before the start of Night and you will attempt to kill the first player still alive.
3. Once during the game, you may protect the entire team from an untimely death for either one day period or one night period. PM lackadazed before that period begins in order to use this power.
4. Once during the game, you may daykill another player. This may be done at any time, simply PM lackadazed a list of five names and the first person alive on the list will be killed as soon as possible.
5. You may find that you have some? help. If you attempt to kill said help, the kill will simply fail.
9. mike411
Ninja: You found your way onto a pirate ship, not for wealth or adventure, but to prove once and for all that ninjas are superior to these drunken searats that call themselves pirates. You?re stealthy enough that the fact that you aren?t pirates isn?t easy to detect, but be careful?

4. Once during the game, you may daykill another player. This may be done at any time, simply PM lackadazed a list of five names and the first person alive on the list will be killed as soon as possible.
5. You may find that you have some? help. If you attempt to kill said help, the kill will simply fail.
10. matteybeyblade
The Obnoxious Hero: Let?s face it, real pirates pillage, plunder, and betray each other all the time. You? You probably weren?t meant for the pirate life. While they wouldn?t do the same for you, you have made it your goal to protect the innocent pirates on this ship from harm.
1. Before Night, you may PM lackadazed with a list of five names. The first person on the list still alive when Night begins will have a 50% chance of surviving if attacked. You may not protect yourself and if your target is attacked multiple times in one night, you will only be able to protect from the first attack.
2. Before Night, you may PM lackadazed with a list of five names. The first person on the list still alive when Night begins will have a 100% chance of surviving if attacked. You may not protect yourself and if your target is attacked multiple times in one night, you will only be able to protect from the first attack. If you use this option, you will not be able to protect the next night.
(You may only use either the first or second option a night, not both.)
11. revival_of_wiz_kid
The Paranoid Pirate: Oh, sure, they always told you that you wouldn?t be horribly murdered in your sleep, but they were wrong, weren?t they?! Just in case, you sleep with your sword handy, so should you find yourself heading towards an untimely death, you can at least take your killer down with you.
12. SCalibur
Pirate that Doesn?t do Anything: ?and you?ve never owned a parrot and you?ve never been to Boston in the fall. You don?t do much around the ship either, making you a very normal pirate.
Items:
Dice ? once during the game, you may bet on who will die the following night. If you win, you may get a chance to rest and dream for once?
13. Metalwarrior
Pirate that Does Something: Much like a pirate that doesn?t do anything, you?ve never owned a parrot and you?ve never been to Boston in the fall. However, you are a bit of a kleptomaniac, and stealing is in fact an act of doing something.
Each night you may PM me a list of five players. You will target the first player alive at the end of the Night period. If that player possesses any items, you have a 50% chance of stealing one of these items. You may not target the same player twice.
14. Lord_Owlstar
Captain Hook: You are the infamous Captain Hook and aim to take control of this ship for yourself. Beware, however, you are being pursued by Tick-Tock the Croc?
1. Each night, you may PM me a list of five names, and will attempt to kill the first one alive during Night. (If you target Tick-Tock, your attempt will fail.)
2. Twice during the game, you may prevent your own death (and Tick-Tock?s if converted) for one Day/Night period.
3. Each night you may PM me a list of five names and you will investigate if the first player on your list still alive at the end of Night is Tick-Tock the Croc. If you find Tick-Tock, he will join your team and gain some powers to aid your team.
4. If instead Tick-Tock finds you before you find him, you will instead become a plain pirate and a member of the innocent team.
Items:
Eyepatch ? Oddly enough, you feel slightly more accurate while wearing this.
15. Kirby-Oh
Pegleg Pete: You?re a fairly normal pirate, but you?re a bit disgruntled due to your misaligned prosthetic limb, and those four-limbed pirates annoy you so? Fortunately, you?ve found the perfect solution!
Once per night you may hit someone in the head with your peg leg. Don?t worry, you won?t kill anyone, but you will give them a nasty headache, rendering them fairly useless for the next day/night cycle. PM lackadazed a list of five names before Night ends and the first person still alive at the end of Night will be properly thwacked.
16. Benladesh

4. Once during the game, you may daykill another player. This may be done at any time, simply PM lackadazed a list of five names and the first person alive on the list will be killed as soon as possible.
5. You may find that you have some? help. If you attempt to kill said help, the kill will simply fail.
17. Bunnylover
The Swordfighter: You?re actually quite talented with a sword, and you?re out to prove it. You realize something is a bit off on the ship, however, and whatever it is seems like a greater challenge than your fellow pirates. Each night you may PM lackadazed a list of five names that you believe may be attacked and you will watch over the first one still alive at the time Night begins. If they are indeed attacked by some exotic threat, you will prevent your target?s death.
18. Icey
Sea Turtle: You?re quite warm-hearted, for a reptile. As such, you?re rather fond of the crew of the DejaVu and their seaweed-hugging ways. Once during the game, you may return a player that has walked the plank to the ship. (Just to clarify ? you can revive one executed player.) You may use this at any time during the game, simply PM lackadazed and the results will be posted as soon as possible.
19. Dannysheaven
Dice Addict: You like to gamble a little too much? but each day you may PM me with a name that you bet will die that Night. If your guess is correct, you will gain 50% protection for the next Night.
20. anson
Pirate that Doesn?t do Anything: ?and you?ve never owned a parrot and you?ve never been to Boston in the fall. You don?t do much around the ship either, making you a very normal pirate.
21. Armi
The Mystic: So your friends think that you, with your strange concoctions and crazed ramblings about the alignment of the stars, are a few planks short of a deck? You?re out to prove them wrong, however, and every other night you may dream about the true intentions of those on board.
On even nights, you may dream about a player to see if they lean towards good or evil. To do so, PM me with a list of five names before Night begins and you will follow the first one who survives the night.
22. Forte
Polly: Despite your positive image, you?re actually a rather bitter bird with a talent for mimicry. And just for the record, you hate crackers. You?re on your own team.
1. Each night, you may PM lackadazed with a list of 5 people, and you will mimic the role of the first player alive at the end of Night for the next Day/Night period. Due to the confusion, the targeted player will not be able to use their role abilities and will be informed of this. However, all effects meant to target the player you mimic will instead affect you, and effects targeting you will affect your target. You may not target the same player two nights in a row.
(For example, should you steal A?s role and B tries to kill you, A will be die in your place. Or, if B tries to kill A, B will hit you instead.
Also note: If a role has a once per game ability, you cannot use that ability twice, even if you copy the role again.)
If you copy the role of either a plain innocent or a plain lesser member of an evil team, you will receive no role powers but will still have effects switched for that Day/Night Period.
2. In addition, if one of your posts during the Day contains two consecutive sentences repeated from another player?s post, you will gain 50% protection the following night. You may not use the quote function to fulfill this requirement, and you must PM lackadazed with what you have repeated before Night in order to activate this.
3. Flight: Once during the game, you may protect yourself from death for any Day/Night period. PM me to activate this.
Items:
1. Crackers ? twice during the game, you may get your revenge by shoving a crack down another player?s throat. This has a 50% chance of killing the player and a 50% chance of simply incapacitating that player for one Day/Night period.
23. Funk
Tick-Tock the Croc: You are the fearsome crocodile that once ate Captain Hook?s hand. You liked the taste so much that you?re back for more?
1. Each night you may search for Captain Hook. To do so, PM me a list of five names before Night starts. If the first person on your list at alive at the end of night is Captain Hook, he or she will become a rather (handless) plain innocent and you will be informed.
2. If you are found by Captain Hook before you find him, you will become a member of Hook?s team.
Items:
Clock ? once during the game you may prevent all role activity for one Day/Night period. PM lackadazed before this period begins in order to use this item.
24. sexysilver
The Wayward Medic: You?re a very talented medic, even if you did somehow choose the pirate life. Eventually, your medical background takes over and you just know you can help at least one of these people?
Once during the game you may revive a dead player. To do so, PM me with the name of the player and the results will be posted as soon as possible.
Items:
Empty bottle ? But why?s the rum gone? You just don?t know? this bottle seems to have a negative effect on you, you can toss it to another player if you like.
25. sirhatter
Pirate that Doesn?t do Anything: ?and you?ve never owned a parrot and you?ve never been to Boston in the fall. You don?t do much around the ship either, making you a very normal pirate.
26. francineh
Cannon loader: Your job on the ship is to load the cannons, and to be honest, it?s a bit unsatisfying. Once during the game though, you may ?accidentally? load the cannon incorrectly so that it just may backfire and have unpleasant consequences for the first random person to walk by it?
PM lackadazed at any time to use this.
27. cateraction
Pirate that Does Something: You?re a fairly normal pirate, but at least you had the good sense to bring a pistol.
Items:
Pistol: This pistol has one shot that you may fire at any time. To use it, PM lackadazed with a list of 5 people and I will post the results of your shot as soon as possible.
28. GIR
Chaotic Neutral Stowaways
You seem to have slipped aboard the ship without anyone noticing. You're not on anyone's team and are neither good nor evil nor a true team. However, you have a chance of stealing powers from people who die and may use them to cause chaos.
29. Cannon
Chaotic Neutral Stowaways

AS you can see, I had a very crappy role, so I wasn't a big deal

If you've got a boring role, making it unboring; do something crazy that no one would ever think of doing. I almost did something like that this game. Try to flush out the baddies, be creative. Having a boring role means you can take some risks and can afford to die.
I had been considering fairly early in the game PM'ing everyone alive, saying that I'm the wannabe ninja and I think you might be a ninja. The goal would be to get the message to the real ninjas of who I am. And if people tried to use that against me, I could use the excuse that I was just trying to flush out the ninjas. I was hoping that the ninjas would have something in their role that would give them an idea that I really was on their team. But...I decided against doing that since it was too risky for too little gain. It would've been fun doing it though.

Amusing role descriptions ^_^ fun to read. Yep, I was right, forte was a super-dreamer ._.

Well, if we see it in other way, ther boring role makes you a lesser threat, and you're less appealing than others, so for me, was easier to survive the entire game

Wow, I really liked the Captian Hook/Tick-Tock Dynamic. That's pretty cool. I had fun, I was especially surprised I stayed alive so long. Good job to Forte, that was impressive.
