I may be jumping at nothing here, but I had a friend tonight tell me that she's been seeing the odds shift between the day start and day end in Food Club. It's been a few months since I've read Hatter's guide (and I probably should reread it, since I haven't been playing the odds as fully as I should be), but I don't recall any mention of that, and it certain would be a serious problem if it's true. The person's certain that she knows that the day ends at 2 PM NST (the likely logic flaw), and is also claiming that the odds change between the beginning (2:30 PM) and the end (2 PM).
Has anyone noticed/confirmed this? Or is my friend just crazy?

o_0. My winnings have always been based on the same odds I made my bets at. So I'd tend to think you're friend's crazy. On the other hand, I usually don't LOOK at the odds except for when I'm making my bets at 3:00PM NST, so the odds might change for people making bets later.
She said the odds remained the same on the bets, but not on the actual (or perhaps the actual does but the display changes). She also quoted Cran as being able to verify it, so this should be sorted out relatively quickly.
The odds usually become more extreme once during each cycle. For instance, I recently had a 2:1, 3:1, 11:1, 13:1 turn into a 2:1, 6:1, 13:1, 13:1. It's almost never the opposite. If anything, that is an advantage, although I agree it should be mentioned. Many people never see this because they make their bets after the change.
Your friend is correct. The odds DO change as the day progresses. I noticed it too.
The ODDS change around 4 am NST the day of the race BUT they change again around 1 pm NST. The second one is like a preview of the next competition. I've lost nps doing the bet at that hour becuase they get registered to the next race and sometimesthe enter limbo... Be careful.I suggest doing your bets before 12 pm NST (2 hrs before the race)
