I noticed an item on the TP that wasn't on the IDB database called Skarls Sword. Neoitems had little info on this besides it being in the Battle Magic category. It can be seen here if the trades are still up:

My HTML skills aren't so great here since I've never bothered with posting such things here at IDB before, so this may look a little goofy it you're reading this soon after I post.
Edit: Thanks for the info on how to put pics up here professorelite, I'll still leave the link up for the pic.

Nice catch though, wonder if that's the only one that exists... the account is young, but it seems to be used by an oldbie, look at all those trophies in only 2 months... could this be from the meridell war?
someone had pics of this apparantly in use on his lookup, I have held off posting about this due to it being impossible to verify the info as only a few players know about it, forged screenies and info to help one of their friends make a sale at a huge ammount of NP is possible..
Though I will say if the screenies ARE fake, they are good ones, lol, anyways, I found them and have posted the user here for interest, the lookup they are on is snow_ranger
The owner of the sword wouldn't battle with it at first because she thought weapons could be permeantly stolen and the "wotc" in the item image URL stand for "Wizards of the Coast" so it most likely is a TCG prize of some sort and not a War prize.
I highly doubt that any old redeemable tcg weapon would deal 20-25 icons and defend ALL light also, but if it turn out that it can be gotten from the Meridell set then I guess it might be possible (BFM set has been out for years.. might be a very rare prize). I think it might be a real life TCG prize, I might be wrong though = /
Or it just might be a staff member trying to play some tricks on the BDC

I can't find them anywhere on that lookup.
He seems to have taken them down -- I saw them yesterday, right at the top of the page. He may have noticed all the lookup views and worried about it. Perhaps someone can neomail him and ask if he'd like to submit the weapon info to IDB himself.
I *think* (I may be completely wrong) that Skarls Sword may have been one of the prizes for placing in a real-life Battle for Meridell tournament, the way the Space Faerie Token was for the Return of Sloth tournament. If so, there should have been something like 45 in existence at some point. Can anyone confirm/disprove this?
To set the record straight. I know the previous owner and the current owner of the Sword.
The current owner does Not want it to be publicized who actually owns it. All I can say is it is owned by a wealthy maller.
The prize was from a TCG pack (base set).
This is what was told to me by the original owner.
Unfortunately, the previous owner was in the process of selling the sword when I approached her to test it on me.
I wanted to verify the full light block and also verify the actual number of icons damage it did.
I am still hoping that the current owner will relent and let further testing of the sword happen in the near future.
It was sold for a price slightly in excess of 150 million nps.
Skarls Sword
Apologies for the fuzzy image, but it was provided by the previous owner to indicate the full light block feature of the sword.
