Has anyone else played it? I just finished it like a half hour before making this thread. In case anyone who plays the series didn't know, it is the last one in the Battle Network series (another series after it is set for sometime in 2007 though for Megaman's 20th Anniversary). The ending was sad, but I was hoping the story would make more references to the older games (like 3 did with 2's story). The twists in the plot were pretty easy to see ahead of time though o_-
Overall I loved it though. Now I just want it to be 2007 >_<
ooo. Thanks. I only saw the page for it on the Japanese Capcom site. Too bad I can't read any Japanese though Oo Just hope they don't mess with the gameplay too much (although the 3-D battling in the trailer looked cool.)
Dark got me hooked to the game. He's my source on which to buy and which not to buy, so I didn't touch 4 or 5, but I played 3 and 4, and 6 bloody owns...maybe because I love to beast out and use the SlashCross.
I'm almost to the ending. No clue this was the final BN, guess I better buy 1,4, and 5. Is the DS version of 5 better to get or just buy one of the GBA versions of 5?
Get the DS version I think. It has a map which should be really useful and it includes both versions of 5 so that's good. I only ever played the first BN and got halfway before stopping... I was at the power outage. It was a ROM so I never felt like finishing =/
5 actually was not that bad. The only one I did not like was 4 because 90% of the game had nothing to do with the actual story, and you have to replay it 3 times

I got about halfway through the third playthrough and haven't picked it up since. Also the DS version of 5 has a party system where you get to carry around two other navis and you can switch out between them in battle, and you can get the Leaders Raid and Chaos Lord chips without having to Gameshark it. Also if you really love the series, get the DS one and one of the GBA ones because if you get the Bass icon on the GBA version you get Bass Cross Fusion mode on the DS one.
And the power outage part on the first one is ebil

. I had to replay it because I screwed my game up with my bro's Gameshark and figured out you can actually let your battery run out...I was mad after that considering how hard it is to do without having to recharge your battery.
Hmm...tempting much for Bass fusion. >_> Though the money output for it is steep. I'll put MMBN5 DS on my "To Do" list.
Truthfully, I've never beatena single BN game since I always stop right before the final boss. I hate beating ames. -.- *pokes her Phoenix Wright game* This is why I never touched this game till now. Took me 6 months to muster up the will to beat it...mainly since a sequeal is coming. *big grin*
Yeah, I'm weird. =P
Anyways, so is BN4 and 1 even worth my time? I'll get 5,but the other two, if I see them int he store, I might get them as well, ynless you guys think otherwise. Rather not waste money when I can save it for Clash of the Ninja 2.
