I'm having problems trying to use a controller I just got for my computer and can't figure out why it won't work on Maple. It works on all my other applications, like Halo for PC, but not maple. The controller has no macro or anything like that on it so I can't hack with it. I want to play with it because I thought it would help me get less bored during training. I heard on Basil that you can play with a joystick but I'm not why I can't play with this controller. The controller I'm using is a AIRFLO EX by Nyko. Does any one know a way I could make it so I can play with it?
Maple is played with a keyboard.
I think you can play maple using a controller that emulates a keyboard, but I'm not sure about it.
My controller works, but then again, mine has mouse and keyboard emulation on it Oo. Try seeing if yours can do that I guess. Mine said it could on the box (which drew me in to by it)
Yeah mine can emulate a keyboard and a mouse, do you think it would work if I were to get rid of the mouse emulation I have set on it. I wanna try this because I'm really good at games with controllers, not so much with keyboards.
I got mine because it was 80% off and had all the extra stuff, mouse and keyboard emulation and a its the only one I could find that worked with Windows 2000, i payed $10 for mine. The Radio Shack near my house was going out of bussiness, me and my dad were getting some extention cable for our internet connection and I saw this so I got it.
what is porttokey? Is that how you configure the buttons on yours, cause mine uses Nyko Gamepad Mapping Configuration. Is taht a program I need to download. If so from where.
And say what controller your using.
Okay, I have a program now, Joy2key, but it doesn't tell how to set up buttons. Anyone know how?
