Not sure if this weapon is broken, or does nothing, but at the moment Battle Spade does nothing. Tried it in the battledome. I can lend mine for further studies if needed.

Actually, both sycthos and I came to the same conclusion having tested it independently, so your findings are confirmed.
TNT may not have activated it yet.

Yes, this weapon seems inactive, as there is no text when it is used.

It did nothing for me either.
