Well looks like theres another event/thing to do in neopets. Well discuss because I am confused
Well I think there are 20 beads to collect. i dono if anyone had any yet
I was kind of annoyed when I saw it on my lookup, because I assumed it was some kind of pay thing like Lutari Island itself, but:

If they're given out in REs and through quest-type deals or whatever, that's fine. And as we collect beads and put them on the talisman, it apparently brings us better luck... which interests me.
This does look interesting. I really hope we set up some way of referring anyone who wants to join, though. Like for instance, if you wanted to sign up for the cell phone thing, you'd let someone refer you in order to get a bead.
Anyway, I though the ONLY was of increasing your random events is to have the Happy Birthday sidebar. The weird thing is, though, the one in our lookup has all of the beads already on it.
does anyone knows the name of the lutari beads?
Edit: nevermind. They used to be called "lutari bead 1," "lutari bead 2," "lutari bead 3," etc., but now they have crazy names. A few:
Yellow Ranaka Bead
Blue Urapa Bead
Red Oranu Bead
Yellow Matu Bead
Green Tongi Bead
There are four colors and five types, so you can mix and match to get all the names.
Right now, on the TP or in auctions (just search "bead"). People are asking way too much (500-700k); I'm sure prices will drop a lot in a week or two.
Reports from the BDC indicate the last few beads have sold for only 200k.
Deflation is quick.
Its kind of funny what Neopets wil resort to to earn a few extra bucks from their wireless partner. This really doesn't seem cool.
yeah, I'm defiantely not impressed with the road that neopets is currently going down, they are on a very slipeery slope right now...
I just found a Yellow Urapa Bead in my inventory, so I must have gotten it from a Random Event today. I am going to sell it, since it will only deflate from this point on.
