NCW is still on so people still aren't going to be training for fear of raising their league, it will be intersting to see if the ending of the NCW war (this weekend I beleive) will have any effect on the prices...
What's the news on the NCW now? If it's over I'll just do this for maybe a few more days and close the project since it's been over a week without any data submissions.
It's over (trophies were awarded on the 16th), and codestone prices are rising again. A lot of the ones that were 3900-whatever are now 4100+. Also, a lot of people in my guild are training.

All the data before the 16th said the price should continue to drop... then, on the 16th, it suddenly spiked up like crazy... it fell back down a bit afterwards, but it's been on a upward trend since then!
It's too bad that people don't seem to care enough to help on this project so this might be the last or second to last update... Oh... and for the people who wanted to see a weekly cycle, the chart is now divided by 7 days, with the axis between Friday and Saturday.
Might want to tell the people in the NWC that they appear to be a major influence on the economy =) Good job Cranb on pointing out the NWC.

Of course a war plays an important factor in the cosestone economy. People didn't think that the NCW war was big enough to have an important impact on codestone prices. Usual wars have thousands of battlers. NCW had 770. OF course it takes a much smaller crowed then we thought to have a big impact on the neopian economy. Think about it. Only 770 people. If enough people got together they could control the economy or at least have it go in the direction they want. This has proved a lot more about neopets then this was originally set to do.
In the next week or so I will be in Utah, and I won't be having much if any access to the internet so please, send in data for this project in the coming week. It is very important now since we may just have a possible war that we can observe soon with all this Cryodrake's Gaze stuff. If there ends up being a huge gap in the data then I'm simply going to close down the project

I'm glad I finished my current round of training just before the war rumors started! Rumors always send codestone prices shooting up, so I definitely agree with the current theory. I don't think we necessarily need to
prove it, though, since it happens every single time there's even a hint of a plot.
