thats funny I really dont mind cause I just sit there and refresh the page every 5 seconds and I can EASILY get a 10k profit item so thi does help me and you guys have to be less lazy just refresh the page EVERY 5 seconds

I refresh every 5 minutes, just to miss a 15 million item (without even seeing it), and several unbuyables. >.>

My strategy is to refresh in a variety of shops at the same time in order to improve my odds. Refreshing in four shops instead of one will, in theory, multiply your chances of catching an rs in a given amount of time by four. It's not impossible to rs now, it's just that the challenge is finding a restock instead of getting items in a restock.

As for effects on the economy, I mostly expect to see the deflation or stagnation of battledome items that cost 1-8 million and the inflation of items that cost 300-600k.

I think the new system is more of a communist change on neopets...it is harder for the rich to get richer since they will get RS banned more while the random refreshers, will get some of the items, normally they couldn't get.
Personally I don't like the new system even though I'm one of those bad RSers who are being helped...now RS becomes a big time consumer rather than a part of a multi-task lump I got my best UB in my RS life with this new system but already have felt like I've wasted a lot of time

Some of us, like me, never even bothered with RSing because I found it was too much of a hassle. Even with all the guides, and attempting them...there are just too many people who are too good, or who cheat. So I said screw it.

I see alot of people complaining about gaming as being a way to make points, but my girlfriend and I use them pretty much exclusively, and she's made the majority of her 2 million with it, and I've made (though I don't have cause I've spent and haven't built back up) my nearly 1 million by the same thing.

Really, if you can spend the time involved to RS properly, you can spend enough time gaming to get good at 10-20 of them, and make 30-50k a day.

but if you were good at restocking (which I'm not) you can make FAR more then 30-50k in a day...

I'm kinda in the same boat, for me restocking was something to do while doing a bunch of other things, fighting in the dome, see its a couple seconds past the minute, refresh at a store, same thing for NQII and between levels in extreme herder, now restocking is just tedious

I'm not saying you can make as much at gaming as you can with Rsing. Assuming you could make 3k at every game you played, and you played every Action and Puzzle game listed in the games section (not counting Luck/Chance cause not every game works the same) you would make a 405k a day.

To do this, you'd most likely have to have all day to sit and do nothing but play games. Then, you'd have to be GOOD enough at all those games to earn 1k per play, x 3 plays, x 45 games.

No, I know that RSing has, and probably always will be the single "best" way to make the most profit. However, I simply wanted to point out that playing games can be decently profitable in the long run.

Actually, I think the 70-hour suspension was only because I used the capitalized word "DAMN" in the board title.

Anyways, I have been working on a small project during suspension time on my side account. It's similar to the Red Codestone Foundation (or was it something else?) as it encourages people to submit messages to TNT through the Neopian Times and the Contact Us form to attempt to restore the previous restocking system.

This is a work-in-progress, though it will most definitely be complete by the time my account is free of suspension.

However, I lack graphics skills, and I will welcome anyone skilled at a graphic program to construct buttons. The program name is the Restock Recovery Registry and is "more than a petition."
