That's my point-- I haven't seen anybody else who has managed a 10-0. Then TNT won't even acknowledge the fact that somebody scored on their super-goalie.
FYI: Virtupets has at least 200 wins. Lots of 8-0 and 9-0 games in there too.
sigh... tyrannias out.. grr...
Aw, sorry Kaniget... but not
too sorry, because it means Roo Island stayed in.
I'm really surprised Faerieland is gone; they seemed very popular. I'm still not sure whether scoring is by popularity alone (because I know Mystery Island and Roo Island were surprisingly popular, according to polls I've seen) or some kind of formula involving goals, total wins and number of players. I hope TNT tells us sometime.
i'm suprised tyrannians didn't get through
Wow, Krawk Island won against Altador! I can't believe it! (Not that I'm complaining). I seriously thought we would be beaten since they seemed more popular and is the hometown.
Why Tyrannia lost?Is Roo Island more popular than Tyrannia?
I don't know if it's based on popularity, or on skill of the players (number of goals scored (or wins) weighted by number of players or something). But yeah, Roo Island is actually a lot more popular than people think, according to some polls I saw.
I just assumed it was done by straight number of wins...
A lot of people did, but the numbers seem rather odd if that's the case. I hope TNT explains at some point.
AHHH!!! Virtupets lost! (Goes and cries in corner.)
I think I'll be joining up with the Haunted Woods for the next round.
I think that the reason Faerieland seemed so popular and lost was because Neopets -- and I'm being a very biased and close-minded person

-- is mobbed by 12 year old girls with nothing better to do than chat. I wouldn't expect many 12 year old girls to be hardcore gamers or anything like that, would you?
I'm thinking that the scores were the amount of wins/losses. If they were counting goals, then in theory they would have to be keeping track of what the AI scored against us too. I don't think that's very likely.
I do find it odd that the scores (with the lone exception of Faerieland) are all in the 400,000-800,000 range, many being 600-700k. That seems oddly even to me; I thought for sure some (like Kiko Lake) would be a lot lower. It seems weird that Neopia would split so evenly into 16 teams. But I dunno... I really hope they explain it.
