Still is it fair for a person who, say, got over 100 (or more the normal 50 wins to be more realistic) wins each round, but each time their team lost, so they kept switching. Over a person who got 5 wins or less and was on Darigan/Haunted Woods from the start? heck, some peopel joined HW and DC and never did zip. I see no fairness on that. >_> It shouldn't matter which team you were with, but moreson how much you helped. =/
Wars follow that(no matter which team you're on you get a decent prize if you worked hard, though duh stronger the pet...far better then a newbie that works hard), so I'm hoping this does that too.

Maybe I'm thinking too much intot his. I don't really care what I get for a prize. I know I didn't do the best I could do, but I did try. I still wish I could get Tyrannian as my trophy though. =)

I agree, on the neoboards it's now just... little jerks vs. little jerks. I stopped reading. And I made myself a new banner that I think really shows my team spirit!

I think you are far better off to ignore the neoboards in relation to altador cup, I'm pretty sure the top players don't even bother posting or bragging on them etc.

True, just that...as much as I HATE plot boards, I'm always dragged to them. Most the top people never talk there, namly in wars and during LDP. Just a bunch of n00bs, with a few nice people mixed in, being brats and gloating. =/

That's a great banner Cran. I saw it on PPT. I'd like to do that too if it wasn't the fact my home team was out round 1.
Oh well, I'm keeping my tyran support image on my pet's lookup, so I'm content...for now. =P

It's true. With the LDP, one of my friends came first on the whole site. Another tied for second. I tied with two more people for third. I never posted on the neoboards, and I don't think any of the other five did, either. Most of the serious players avoid the neoboards and work in small groups using chat programs or whatever.

I also have a free weekend, and my goal was 75 points this round (doesn't seem like much compared to the people who've been getting 300-500, but it's about all I can stand!). I don't have much motivation, though... I don't really care for my team.

P.S. Armi, I love the mutant flotsam set!

Yep, I remember that. I've been around those boards ince either HatIC or CoM...I forget cause BC was acting like those plot boards during both those wars.
None of the best really talk there...kinda pointless. I usually just point stuff out to people and sometimes chat with the nicer people. LDP was fun on there since everyone was being groups and helping their groups, but this Cup...ugh! So much rudeness.They've never been this bad before. I guess 16 teams is just too much.

I was fueled when I was playing for Krawk island and I'm not too much on disliking HW, so I'm going to try to endure the 4 minutes of gameplay. I know it's 3 mins of game time, but those pauses between goals.
I'll never get how people can do 100+ scores.

BTW, if the pattern keeps up...HW will lose. Highest scoring teams seem to always lose the next round. I hope this time is different.

Looks like haunted woods is against darigan citadel so my team's still in . Haunted woods had a majorly high score last time (over a million!), and so did krawk island which surprised me. The supporters on the boards and everyone's individual scores lead me to believe that roo island and krawk island would be facing off for the finals. Yet roo island had the worst score.

I'm starting to feel the scores really have been fixed, and if so I'm betting that having darigan win would be an advancement into the Haunted Woods plot that supposed to be coming. What better way to start the plot than having having everyone in the woods frustrated that they lost by a close score in the cup? Then in the confusion, all sorts of stuff could happen in the woods and it'll be up to the neopians to solve the problem (since everyone else is still upset over the cup.) Maybe jealousy toward darigan brings out the worst in everyone in the haunted woods. Who knows.

Either way, I'm hoping I win something for my original team getting getting to the finals (and hopefully winning.) Even though I only played like 4 games

yeah, I'm hoping that I win something decent because my team went to the finals (I'm sorry guys I've been with the hated darigan all along, please forgive me [I'm defiantely not a board poster though]) and I have almost 250 total wins...
