This has concerned me for a very VERY long time. What's with the trades in the trading post where the person puts "free" in their wishlist for fairly expensive items? Sometimes I see "free or (certain # of neopoints)." Why do they do that, it doesn't seem like any kind of scam and when I bid a fair price for it I'm usually denied...

Any thoughts are welcome.

My thoughts run as such: they're seeing how many gullible people there are in Neopia.

Needless to say, nobody pays attention to what I think.

I don't use the trades oftenly... have you tried with some 1np stuff?

Maybe it's a bad joke...
