Precisely my point. Usually, you make one man teams so they have you know...a chance to win as well...one man teams? Dry

... question, how many WW games have you played? I've played a few, and if you want me to I can name some with OMTs lacking protection. Like the religious prophets in Silver's Iraqi game, or the Raving Lunatic in Scal's Wereraven game, unless you consider advoiding a single exucution to be great protection. Heck the Raving Lunatic, which was Techno, was the first one dead in that game!
^ you sort of proved franc's point right there. OMTs should never really be the first ones dead >_<.
You have a good point, but I wasn't trying to disprove him. He was just complaining a?lot, which others had had it the same/worse and didn't complain, thought now that I reread it isn't as bad as I thought it was.
Freaky, we ended up with 3 OMT teams winning, except by the end they were all part of one... it was lucky Yoshi asked Ryguy for a convert, it seems he was dangerous. I guess it was a good strategy, since I could convert baddies and they would become only more powerful (+1 daykill), plus gaining teammates. I never did know Q77 was a baddie, I knew his role, but not that it was evil...

Anyway, I know in my cases levels did do something, every time I hit an even level I got another convert. I started out with, and ended up gaining 2 more, neither of which I ever used. I could convert anyone, baddie or innocent, and also people who died in the past days (giving one day of protection). My plan at the beggining of the game was to try to find the rezzer and convert them, because converted rezzers are very dangerous and powerful, particularly in this case when we could go back and forth rezzing each other (actually I'm not sure whether or not I could rez teammates). I hoped to convert the person who was rezzed and get them to contact the rezzer and then convert them. Anyway, by night 2 no one had been rezzed so I sent in a list for conversion, pretty much random. Jetman, who ironically enough was the rezzer himself was at the top of the list with Q77 2nd. Jetman was killed that night so I got Q77, which turned out fine... unfortunatly I had been injured the night before when I was executed, so thanks to some miserable luck I couldn't ever convert the rezzer. Or so I thought, ended up rezzing Ryguy, who ended up being just as good (got me rezzed back up again which was what was most important, without that only Q77 would have been left and we would have almost certainly lost).)

Hmm, more comments later. Overall a good game, it was good that everyone had roles, and I know that I for one had a great role, one of my funnest and best ones ever. It was almost overpowered, but I think it was balanced out by the fact that I could have died so easily early on, and that no one else on my team could use the conversions. Anyway, there were some other flaws, like there didn't seem to be a clear convention on the order of events. For example, look at the last day, where all the daykills actually occured after execution. Also my conversions seemed to happen at different times each time, once it happened at execution, but later on it didn't happen until nighttime.

Forte-You knew my role and I actually did you a favor and you voted for me =[

I'm so gullible. Oh well. Smile second place works for me.
How was switching me to the Dharma team doing me a favor? Dropped me one position on the win list and kept Armi's daykill from hitting Yoshi because she sent her list in first, but it was nullified by the role switch. That's the main reason I voted for you (but the votes shouldn't have even counted since they happened after 8PM).
It was a favor because you told me to do it XD
BTW, theonlysaneone, can we see all the role sheets?

Anyway, I was just thinking how lucky we aliens were those past few night... no one ever attacked us. Quite literally none of use were ever attacked during the night (me and Ryguy were both killed by execution, not at night). Not sure why especially in my case, I was revealed as a baddie for a long time...
actually chicken, one of the nights I was attacked, but I had night self protection, which I used... I was lucky I got converted cuz it's pretty hard for OMTs to win by themselves, even with night self protection, they cannot get majority.

I told you to switch it back

I'm sure he would have if he could, but he only had one switch. He would have gained another one at level 4, but he never made it that far. When I originally thought of the level system, I intended for the game to last a lot longer than it did, but a mix of bad luck for the innocents and powerful baddies ruined that. However, it did affect the game in some ways (especially for accuracy-intensive roles, such as dreamers and the multi-rezzer), and a couple of characters gained abilities from it. It's not something I'd suggest using again, but you looked like you were having fun with the posting requirements Smile
Although a few of you are slightly unhappy with the results of the game concider this.

Theonlysaneone is really new to these forums. He doesn't even have 200 posts. Yet he was able to stand up and decide to make a WW game. Being new is not always easy. He also implemented a new experiemental system that made you guys really involved. The posting requirments things was amazing. It was fun and made you guys active. Although that system didn't go as planned things work through trial and error. The system has a lot of potential and now that we have seen the flaws of it those can be fixed and perhaps the system can be used in the future.

So you know give this guy some credit. He tried something very new and many MCs don't take that risk Wink
