Full Version: MapleStory dream bosses/whatever

I thought I would make a thread about what everyone hopes will one day be added to Maplestory. I've personally had a boss idea for a while:

Required Level: at least 100.
Number of People: Up to 5 Parties. Minimum 1 Full party

Boss: Omega (giant robot in Omega Sector)
HP: 1,000,000,000
MP: 50,000

To summon it, you must go through a series of quests. A maze quest, jump quest, quiz quest, and then an endurance battling quest (which would involve fighting things like Gigantic Spirit Vikings or similarly leveled things for a set ammount of time with limited potion usage). When you are done with these, you get a teleport scroll. The scroll leads to outside the boss chamber.

The part of the boss you see is just its head and hands. The face takes up the whole side of your screen and the hands on it randomly come crashing down on the rest of the battle field. It has a giant beam attack from its mouth similar to Death Flounder, and has a sweeping laser that shoots from its head that is very hard to avoid (unless if you are in the other corner, or if you have flash jump). It can summon black and white versions of other bosses in the game, excluding Zakum and all JMS exclusive ones. Stronger ones like Papatulus and Doom Flounder are downgraded because if it multi-summons, the fight could last forever, and all weaker bosses (Crimson Balrog and lower) are upgraded. They give potion drops since the fight should take a very long time. The boss can also make the entire screen go black, at which point instead of being on the side, he appears in the backround when light comes back. At that point his hands are the part you attack. From there you can see most of its full body. Its hands are much more mobile now. It also will attack with other projectiles from it.

Rewards: Drops similar to Zakum. It also has its own set of level 100 weapons.
I wish there was a mini-boss between Mushmom and Jr. Balrog.........that only drops EWs, lol

There could be some fun bosses, like a group of three giant snails on Maple Island for 3x-4x beginners, lol

And if you were training on a screen that only had one kind of spawn, let's say Star Pixies, then randomly, a giant Star Pixie could spawn in the middle of the screen, and it would only take a similar level to take it down as a normal Star Pixie, but longer, and would always have one of the Star Pixie drops. I think that would be really cool.

I love that idea. I think it should just have a random rare spawn of each version of every mob, and maybe color it like a different shade of the original color. For example, a red ligator, or like a blue wraith... it would rock :thumbup:

I've never really been interested in Bosses.. so I don't really care for them. Except, maybe only Zombie Mushmom Big Grin
Add elemental attack to common mob enemies, making somelike unique, following the Dag's idea about colors.
It is kind of useless for 3rd level magicians to have elemental resitances when it isn't too common for monsters to have an elemental attack >_>

Clerics and Priests still get owned by the world at Zombie MM

Well, Zakum has like upwards in the 300million area so it would just be like an REALLY long Zakum-like fight. Plus, since the Korean test server has 4th jobs, the boss would come out after 4th jobs where it would be possible to hit for much more with a single hit (Please correct me if I am wrong about the existance of 4th jobs by the way, I just remember hearing about that somewhere).

Your absolutely right about being wrong about 4th jobs. kMS test doesn't have 4th jobs.
Ok, just could have sworn I heard that somewhere...
