We have an IRC channel! Come join us if you want

You can use vancity.ath.cx or smoothieserver.ath.cx to connect and you can use ports 6660-6669. Port 7000 for SSL connections [SSL currently not available]. Chat happens mostly in #idb, but feel free to explore other channels or start your own. Rules for the #idb channel are at http://forums.finalhit.org/showthread.php?tid=16595

Alternatively, if you wish to use a real IRC client, you can download a freeware, spyware-free client here.

It's down right now with the upgrade of the forums. If you wish to chat at the moment, you would most likely need a real client.

Whenever you can't connect, please try each address in the server list (first post) vancity.ath.cx and smoothieserver.ath.cx - both will work, the irc.finalhit.org/nomore.lag.in names are down currently. (late edit: down again)

Please come and join us, we have 2 iRPG games going (games where you level up by just idling in the channel) as well as being able to chat in real time with other people from the IDB forums, if people dont talk straight away when you join, please try and idle there a little while, someone is usually lurking and will chat after a little while.
