Actually, I doubt it. The editorial of course confirmed there will be an "event," but the last paragraph stated there won't be a war for quite a while, and seemed serious. People are assuming the event is the unveiling of Lutari Island (and possibly the other side of Neopia). We were talking about it in this thread.

that thread is in the battledome general, not in war room. And i don't think the reveling of a new island is such a big event, that they need to put up a miniplot before that.

But revealing the other side of neopia is indeed a big event and deserved even a full fledged plot. ^_^

That might be a big thing.
But i rather see a one side neopia and have a WAR! There is more than a year since the last war, and that was a bad war. They must plan a war, all you do in a plot is waiting and chating, then a few more clicks.

Hehe, maybe that's all you do. Some of us like to try to be the first to solve the plot puzzles.
I know the thread was in battledome general; I didn't say your thread was a double or anything. Just thought you might be interested in the speculation on what the "event" is. Anyway, I honestly doubt there will be a war this summer. June would be way too soon for them to get everything ready. It makes more sense that when we've finally solved the Altador puzzle (in the next couple weeks, probably) and restored the city, it (and Lutari Island) will be revealed on the other side of Neopia.
And Lutari Island apparently has a training school, so maybe that will help keep codestone inflation down when we finally do get a war. TNT seems pretty concerned about that; they keep denying war rumors in an attempt to keep prices lower.

They took months and months just to finish that plot to reveal some sort of wasteland called Lost Desert o_O

And nope, the previous war ended on 10/6/05. That's less than a year. Also, that was a bad war because they only wanted to try out something new to see how well it goes, and probably rushed because the war hungry people were complaining.

TNT said in the Editorial that there was going to be big plot involving the battledome in June. What do you think it will be? I think a Lutari Island plot is likely because my friend got a Lutari Petpet from the Petpet Lab Ray that isnt released yet.

Um, where? Because we've quoted a recent editorial in the thread I linked above, and it clearly said "there is no war planned for quite a while. *slays rumour and hopes weapon and codestone prices will drop a bit, finally*"

Yes. It's called sarcasm. Did you notice how much other stuff they said in that editorial post? "This plot is basically something we're doing to hopefully entertain everyone while we're planning our next big event. Oops... erm, there's no big event coming soon... like in June or something. Honest.
If there were, though, it wouldn't involve the Battledome. Seriously. There is no war planned for quite a while. *slays rumour and hopes weapon and codestone prices will drop a bit, finally*"
I've seen a lot of questions and TNT stated sarcastically that there wouldnt be one, meaning that there will be one:

See? Actually, even in the beginning, they say that they're planning a big event in June. But, I guess this could be interpreted different ways...
