iDB Community Forum - Testing: Ice Club

I picked one up today on the wiz for 99k, and so far, it's pretty well spent. Looks like it does 9 icons, with a striking similarity to Stone Club in type. There was a slight discrepency of damage when I compared my damage against the damage calculator (1 point on two stances) So I don't know if there's a slight fraction or not, although it says when certain stances are used, there's a possible 10% difference randomly. If that's the case it's probably solid, but I'll leave that conclusion to the experts for sure. It seems to me, and this is just a guess, that this is part of a 'club' series. Stone Club does 9, 3 earth, 3 air, 3 physical. This is the Ice Club and does 3 water, 3 air, 3 physical. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more 'clubs' that do 3 (element) 3 air, 3 physical in the future. No defense according to the neopets battlepedia. If anyone wants to test this with me at any point, feel free, I'm going to be on all day and most of the night unless something comes up. On to the shots!

Oh well, I'm keeping it anyway since I had no water attack weapons, so it's not like I wasted any money. Toungue

That's actually kind of lame. They didn't even change the text from the Stone Club...

And it's also another weapon that's mostly neutralized by Leaf Shield

Yeah. I wouldn't be shocked if they came out with a Firey Stone club or something in the future that does 3 fire, 3 air, 3 physical and is r92 or so. It seems, like I said in a thread way back, TNT is running out of good ideas. Rotfl

But a Fire/Air combo would actually be decent, or worth using.

Dark/Air wouldn't hurt either.

But Water/Physical, Earth/Physical, Light/Physical are bad combos because of the Leaf Shield and Patched Magic Hat.

Icons that get past those two are better.

Which is probably why there haven't been any of them, at least at this low rarity, if you think about it. Everything new that's been released is easily 2/3 blockable. Anyways, I'll stop discussing here and go back to quickfights..

Perhaps this is all a form of a joke on the new battlers?
