No, go to the Gamespot blog.
THOSE are your whiners (since I didn't really say what I was talking about). I won't link to it though, since I would probably be breaking some profanity rule.
Basically the PS3 = Wii + 360. There has to be a middle-ground somewhere.
Haha, silly sony

Kinda smart really, and I'm not that suprised, they stole the analog stick and rumble pack ideas from nintendo in the past... Meh, still think the price is a bit high, I'll definately be getting a Wii first.....

Nintendo wasn't the first to create analogs.
Last I checked, Nintendo had the first analog control stick in a console. Not sure if a PC did it first. Sony did copy them on that though. Unless you can explain why their controller had no analog stick, then got a revision after Nintendo unveiled their's. Same with Rumble. Same with this current "innovation" of their's.

The Atari 5200 and another model were the first consoles with an analog stick. The Sega Saturn also released an analog controller, though it wasn't the basic controller There have also been various PC controllers but I couldn't begin with those. Nintendo wasn't even close to the first.
You forget, though, that many standard things in gaming were stolen off of other consoles: memory cards, backwards compatibility, analog, Hard Drive, CD/DVD playback, online play, the CD and cartridge format, etc. Without these things being "copied" they would have never caught on "(which is apparently copying now). Even Nintendo has copied many things to get themselves ahead. It doesn't matter if you copy, if you can copy something and do it better than the competition, then congrats, your idea is now better than than the original. If it's something that can't really be built upon, but works in the same way (like memory cards), then you're successful just the same, without having up the competition one. That's the way it's always worked and will continue to work.
Also, even with a little research on the technology that the Wii is using and the PS3 (both are nothing new here), it's apparent that they are two completely different things. They can't even be related on a general scale. I suppose you can call them "second cousins" or something, but they're two completely seperate technologies and it's foolish to compare them unless with their older counterparts.
From what I've read in the Gamespot blogs (well, full of mostly idiots, but they think the way a majority of people seem to do right now, just in a more flamboyant and uncivilized way) people seriously can't take the fact that the PS3 controller can ONLY be tilted while the Wii controller can do that and everything else. This tilting technology is very old stuff, and it won't even be used on most games, I would imagine. It's funny that one little thing is used, something that has been used many times for over 10 years, and there are so many people assuming that the PS3 controller is exactly like the Wii controller, which it is in absolutely no way. It's not even a huge feature for the controller, yet people feel the need to be personally offended by it for who know's what reasons (they feel they're console of choice isn't exclusive anymore? Who knows.) Nothing has changed, the Wii still has their "exclusive" technology. There really shouldn't be so much of a commotion about it. If people would actually think about this, they would get off of their Nintendo/Sony even Microsoft high horse and realize there's more to it than "A copied B." (yes, this part was pretty much griping about the GS E3 Blog users.)
On a different note...
*music plays* Poor Snake, Don't do it Snake! SNAKE! SNAAAAAAAAAAKE!
*BANG*
Bring in the young female bombshell that's going to end up replacing him at some point or another. D:
*waits so he can watch the Nintendo Conference unlive*
*dies* I wiint it all now .-. Seriously, nintnedo ownz, microsoft and sony should just give up....
Nitendo is now totally forgiven for renaming it the Wii. Me can't wait for it.
And then there was Spore... if given the choice between Wii and Spore... Id probably go with Spore. Cause it looks like the greatest thing eva.

Agreed o_o . The way that remote is being used in Zelda: Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3 is amazing. Some of the games seem really gimicky, like Yoshi Touch&Go for Nintendo DS; the prime example being the new Super Mario Galaxy.
OMG Super Smash Brothers looks so good... and Mario Galaxy and Fire Emblem and Twilight princess and WarioWare and *dies*. Don't want to wait any longer >_<.
