I have a mutant Skeith I have been feeding him every day, now I log on today and go to zap his petpet and bam the petpet is gone... Did my pet eat his petpet?

The petpet lab ray can sometimes completely wipe out your petpet. It's advised to only zap cheap petpets.

hmm what happens when it zaps it away?

The petpet is gone forever, and you never get it back.

Plus skeiths can eat your items. I think it only happens when you're in quick ref, but I'm not sure since I only had a skeith for 2 minutes before getting rid of it. In that time it managed to eat a 7k lamp I was restocking. Who knows, it might also eat attatched petpets.

Skeiths and Grarrls can eat items from your inventory but they can't eat attacked petpets, petpetpets, stuff in your sdb, shop, etc. The petpet lab can permanently destroy your petpet
