You mean str+def+hp=61? Thats not too bad then. How do you train? What are your stats individually? Do you try to keep them even, or just let the lab take them where it wants to?

While your pet may be weak to you now, we all have to start out from somewhere. I remember about 4 years ago, my pet was around your stats. I thought that was strong at the time.

Also, I train in those schools and I keep them even. Also, is it better to have labray?

Well, labray creates an "unbalanced" pet. It tends to raise health by ALOT, str moderately higher, and lowers defence
I dont mention speed because its usless, but it raises that as well. If you want a well rounded pet, with about equal health, attack, and def, I'd say dont use labray ^_^
Edit: if you don't care, you can use lab ray, as it saves you tons of money
