i remember when my petpet used to appear in the middle of the battle and i could use it as one of my moves. i havent seen it for sometime. has TNT stopped it? coz the pet pet ray has increased my petpets level to 10 now. and i'm wondering if there is any point in petpet level stats. anybody know of any?

for those who dont know what i'm talking about, a petpet is level 1 when attached to your pet and i reduced to level 1 when u move it back to your inventory (if it has increased in level during the time inbetween) u can have its level raised when u play petpet battles or through the petpet lab ray. (r there any others?)

others will double check me on this, but no, petpets nolonger have battledome functions

(I think) they used to give some sort of boost.

It was meant to be a good random event, but people kept refreshing the battle page until their petpet appeared for use, so it was no longer random and so tnt removed that function.
At least this was what I have heard =)

Yes, they used to be functional. Depending on the level, the petpet would give you a boost.

For example (whomg old screenshot):
