How successfull are they? For example, is it possible to steal a seasonal/super/regular attack pea from whomever uses it? My logical guess would be no, cause Im sure many have probably tried and failed - and if it was so easy, than battling probably wouldnt be as 'fun'.
But, I could be wrong... how successful have you seasoned pro's been using a sticky hand and have you ever taken something valuable?
they all have different percentages for stealing, but they only steal the item in the first slot unless otherwise stated...so by the time people get into the attack pea range they are smart enough to keep their best weapons out of the first slot
Well, I dont mean playing against other battlers, I mean playing against someone like the Chomby, who uses the seasonal attack pea. Lets say I fill up with 4 sticky hands and just try my luck? If I can use all 4, is it possible that I can pull an attack pea off the computer?
I hardly use Sticky Hands in 2 player battling. It's because many players would put a least-useful or the worst weapon for their 1st slot.As we ONLY can steal weapons from opponents 1st slot.So if you steal a good weapon from 2-player battle, then your opponent probably don't know this, but the chances are low. So,Sticky Hands are more effective in 1-player battling and really should be use in 1-player battling only.

You aren't supposed to be able to equipt that many...
But it used to work that way, before the limit one stealing weapon rule was implemented. It's not legally allowed but of course there are still some ways to do it

Yea, I mean in 1 Player Battling...
I want to give it a try, but since you say they implemented a 1 steal rule, I guess it would be pretty much impossble to grab an attack pea since Im sure that the programmers are probably smart enough to not equip it in the 1st slot.

If u want to know what you can steal from 1-player opponents, please go to IDB website and click the 1-player profiles. There got list out all.

I think they arrange it randomly, but even then they noticeably put all the challenger weapons at the back, behind other weapons available to the pubic. There are quite a couple of challengers which have good 1st slots to steal =)
aecliptic don't you think is nice that you can't keep the weapon stolen. That way you keep your investment.
Yea I was under the impression that if you steal the weapon that you keep it - thats why I was really interested about this...
That totally sucks... bleh, sticky hands are useless - unless youre fighting the Malevolent Chomby cause you can steal his Thyoras Tear.

Or if you're fighting The Black Pteri and steal its TTear, or you can steal the Evil Sloth Clones H4000 Helmet, amongst others. Or some 1P opponents have a single use/once per battle item in their Slot 1, so you can wait for them to use that and then steal whatever's in their Slot 2 which can sometimes be something good. Unfortunately though iDB 1P profiles don't mention what you steal if the Slot 1 OU/OPB item is already used (like with Mr. Chuckles, if he freezes you with his Red Frost Cannon it disappears for the battle and if you steal after he's had a successful freeze you get his Sparkshooter instead. With Black Pteri, if you wait until it uses TTear, you steal Hawk Bracelet).
