As long as it comes out, I'm happy. And actually, past the bad puns, I think the name is okay... not as good as the Revolution, but oh well.

*Insert toilet humour here*

Ugh, Revolution made sense; it was revolutionising how we play. Wii doesn't mean anything, at the very least not to Mr. Average Joe-Gamer. (It might mean something but I sure don't know what)

It still could be a attention-grabbing joke, the real name might be announced at E3...

Does anyone know if this has been confirmed by Nintendo yet?

There's been skepticism, apparently Nintendo has not trademarked the name and also hasn't created 'wii.nintendo.com' yet.

Simple names are always better, though Revolution was just plain catchy.

Wii will, wii will, rock you...

There goes all the "We need a Revolution!" chants. Now it's "We need a Wii!" Not as catchy.

I personally despise the new name...
