I thought about posting this in the BD forum since I'm hoping this study will have training applications, but decided on General just to be safe.
I've been getting level ups from Von Roo pretty conisistently when I visit him between 12:00:30am and 12:01:00am NST. This has been irritating me to no ends. So I would like to find out if there's a pattern to the times that you win or lose at deadly dice.
I've asked the guild I'm in to help out and I thought I would ask here as well.
All I need is the time that you clicked the roll dice button and the result.
If you get a tie, try to remember both the time of your first roll and the time of your 2nd roll, as well as the final result. If you tie again just repeat, make a note of the times of each click and the results.
I'm not sure if it matters but if you want to include the numbers on the dice that's fine as well.
For example, last night because I was writing this out to on my guild's forum I was a bit late visiting Von Roo. Here is the data I recorded for that roll.
At 12:07:30 roll tie
At 12:07:36 roll loss 2-levels
Dice 2nd roll 2/4
I didn't think about dice numbers until I had rolled the 2nd time and it wouldn't go back to the previous screen to show the results of the first roll.
In this case, the 2nd roll I rolled a 2 and Von Roo rolled a 4, so I lost.
For simplicity's sake please only send results to THIS e-mail address.

I created this e-mail specifically for this study. It's just simpler if all the info goes to one place where it's automatically dated and ordered since I'll be getting info from more than one source.
This study is similar to the one going on on the Neoquest section of the IDB forums for how often the different types of prizes are awarded.
If there is a pattern for Von Roo times then it would be very beneficial to people who either need to level up, or iwho need level down a bit.
The goal of this is to try to find such patterns.
So, the info I need again is...
Time of dice roll(s).
Result of dice roll(s).
number on the dice(Optional)
And if you'd like to be credited when I get enough data to post the completed compilation submit a name you'd prefer to be called. Can be your neopets account name, the name of your neopet, your IDB forums name, or whatever. Just keep it clean so it can be posted to a petpage or possibly to the IDB articles.
And that's it, pretty simple.
Since it's a gmail addy I can accept screenshots. Gmail space is over 2.7gigs right now so if you want to send a screenshot go for it. I would still need to know the time you clicked though, which would be the time before the screenshot of the result would be taken. That's the important time to know imo.
I'm hoping to have this study go for a couple weeks or all the way to the end of may, it depends on how many time submissions I get.
