I bet that majority of the population are currently doing the plot but they just keep quiet about it because the steps are pretty simple, all you need is a reliable plot petpage and a constellation finder. So obviously you wouldn't need a bunch of people to put their heads together just to figure out the steps to solve the puzzle.
