you buy a nerkmid place (doesnt matter which one) place it in the actions and then before it gets sold you use the nerkmid!~ this way you get the neopoints and items from the nerkmid + an avatar.

If I recall correctly, you can't use an item once it's in an auction. Also, if you do use it up and the auction is still there with somebody buying it, that's called scamming.
